Square-Enix Q about FF

Hey, I have never played final fantasy before really but I thought I'd try it. Which game should I start with, having only a ps2 and a GB if there is any on there. Which game has the most characters used in KH in it? Which is the most fun?

 

Final Fantasy VIII, or Dissidia.

 

lol. I asked several questions. Which Q does this answer? And can you start the series with this game and understand the whole story?

 

Well since you have a ps2 it'd probably be best for you to play FFX, FFX-2 or FFXII but the ones with the most characters in KH is FFVII seeing how it was rather popular and still is. I think you can get a few remakes on Gameboy depending on which Gameboy you have.

 

Start with VIII or X. I thought they were pretty easy to get into.
VII has the most characters in Kingdom Hearts because it's the biggest attention whore of the series.

Wow, I'm in a similar situation...I was wondering about this aswell. So you wouldn't start with the first FF, you'd just skip most of them until like FFVII?

 

They're all separate stories from each other, so no point in going in order of numbers. Just start with the game that's easiest for you to get into gameplay wise.

 

Start with FFX, because it is a GREAT game to start out with because a few people who are now die-hard fans of the series started out with X.

You can order the PS1 games on Amazon or any site you trust with games and such, you should get FF9 and FF8...FF7 is a tad hard to get because of it's price -__- Ebay might help for 7.

For the DS you should get FFIII, even though it's really hard...it's a fun game.

 

you can actually purchase all the PS1 titles from Amazon for a reasonably cheap price if i remember correctly. defintely play 7, 8, and 10. those are the best ones, i also liked 6 and 5. didn't particularly care for 12 or 4 though.

 

start with X, X-2. its an excellent game. and then play FFVII, VIII or IX. they were great. you might like VI cuzz its the best FF game IMO.

I don't about prequels or sequels, but I know that FF7 and FFX have references to each other. I don't remember where I had heard it though.

 

Well FFX2 mainly has a lot of references and implications that it is connected to FF7

I think someone actually did say that yes they were connected, but I don't want to believe it.

 

I would say Final Fantasy VII has the most characters in it from Kingdom Hearts;but it's a bit harder to get...And more expense than regular games.

I'd try Final Fantasy X,it has a lot of characters in Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 such as Tidus,Wakka,Yuna,Paine and Rikku; and it's also easy to get.
It also happens to be one of the best Final Fantasies.I love the storyline and gameplay is relatively easy to get a hang of.

 

FF7 and FF8 have PC versions too, with better graphics than the PSX versions. Especially if you add graphics mods to FF7!

 

If you get a PS3, you can buy Final Fantasy VII on the Playstation Network store for $10, but if you can't, maybe scavenge some pawn shops, though I doubt many would hold such a rare title these days.

Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy VII are not connected story-wise. Stop listening to silly fan theories attempting to prove otherwise.
