I'd have to see it in person and would have to be able to investigate the entire scene, person, object, just to make sure it's no tricks.

Well...I highly doubt that its possible. Even if we could do it, it would only hurt us. Sure, move a few things with your mind/soul, great, but if people stopped using their muscles as much for things humans would be weaker, which goes against, living, surviving as a species, etc.

I dont think its possible or that it will happen.

It depends on how you look at the issue:

I find it interesting and I think almost anything is possible if it is plasiable. My main concern is that if everything is done with the mind then what about the rest of the body? If muscles are not used it could lead to a serious conditions where the ligments and muscular atrophy or weaken. Another con would be the safety and precautions of the nervous system that is controled with the body's patterns that send electical impulses to the nerves that leads to the brain. There could easily be a "overload" so to speak meaning to much and could cause serious complications.

I'm open-minded enough to not turn a blind eye to any theories that are out there. I always believed abilities such as psychokinesis were real, just out of our reach at the moment. I believe that most have not developed the brain and soul that far yet. I actually read an article on Uri Geller who's famous for his demonstrations and it got me thinking. Wingmaker, it's okay to think scientifically without rejecting everything. Yes, psychokinesis would violate some laws of physics but our species isn't very old and we don't know everything. We still have a long way to go, so I think almost anything is possible.

it could be that we just dont have enough mental power because we only use about 15% of our brain what does the other 85% do
