It depends on how it broke.

Does it just not work or did it come off completely?

If it's just not working from fatigue, then, yeah, I would just take it to Sony and have them fix it.

I also have a problem that The X Button doesnt work in a fight, but in menus it does. Might that be the game or is the X button broken too?

well, then I'd say really bring it in, because one button, sure you should have it checked at if it consists; but if you're having problems with more than one, I say get it looked at and see if it can be fixed. Heck, maybe it's just the game?

Its probably just the game. It always works good with music and videos

It could be a software issue. Do you have CFW?

No, i dont. I did try to get CFW on it though and now i get a blue screen that says: Settings data is curropted. Press O to restore default settings. Then i do that and it works normal again

If I read that correctly, your start button is working normally again?

Sorry, my bad. i meant that my PSP starts working normally again but the button problem still resides. Luckily, i just made $80 and I called sony and it'll be $69 to get the PSP either fixed or exchnged for a new one so thanks for the suggestions guys but i think thats what I'll do.

I'm glad that I could help and that it won't cost much to get it fixed or exchanged. :)
