Okay, am I the only one who would like to see a confirmed date that PSN will be back up and running!?

 

you're not the only one. i wanted to get the DLC music pack for Duodecim Dissidia, unfortunately i was never able to get around to it before the PSN went down. i found that the Store is the only online component i use.

i saw that story a few days ago but i don't think it's true. i read it from another site and doubt it's true because the reasoning (the one supplied by the hackers) makes no sense whatsoever. it's probably as fake as that bid to sell the customer information for 2 million. also, how do these reporters talk to these hackers anyway?

Could they just be bluffing to give Sony a bad rep? Or are they ruthless cybercriminals? I wonder what exactly's going on. I just really really want my PSN back.

I wonder just what exactly are they trying to accomplish, and what will they accomplish.

Has any evidence of confidential data actually 8een released? From what I've read, there has 8een little to suggest that what was shown has 8een genuine. It appears that the small amount that has been shown was partial inform8ion 8reached years ago, not new data. Perhaps the hackers don't actually have anything of value in the first place?

I imagine Sony would 8e trying to keep any such inform8ion under wraps, 8ut we should have heard something about money 8eing leached from someone's account 8y now.

 

I've read that a few people have claimed their credit cards have been used but nothing major. It's a wee bit strange that the hackers would post data from years ago. You'd think if they were serious they'd post fresh data. It does make you wonder.

Also, Sony have said that PSN may not be up till the end of the month. It hasn't stated when some services will return, however. I'm busy all this week so the extra downtime doesn't bother me. xD
