Due to so much flooding of the system from the amount of users going on at once PSN actually went down for a bit and it was stated by Sony that they were trying to make the network more accessible to everyone. I think PS3 was a major priority for them first and foremost so it'll probably start to work again for the PSP within a few hours to maybe a day.

Aye, I got it fairly quickly, but most users have been having to wait since there's such a huge backlog.

Aye, I've had PSN go down on me once or twice, but it always returns fairly quickly.

Colour me impressed. Full retail games. Some of them are a 8it old, 8ut who cares? Most gamers I know would 8e happy enough to sell their details in exchange for two retail games.

That said, I'm still left in the cold, due to ridiculous NZ 8andwidth providers. That 20Giga8yte/month download cap is looking pretty meagre right a8out now. Ah well. Can't 8lame Sony for that one.

For one thing ps3 is a higher priority.

This is 100% true. Honestly I don't plan on even going on the playstation store. The psp is screwed so why not.

I just realized how Sony just made a pretty bad mistake. The new version of iso tool allows you to take a game downloaded from psn and patch(and i believe it also gets converted to eboot not sure though) an iso with a lower file size and it will run without a modded psp. With these "free games" available the just increased a lot of pirating.

I just feel bad for the people who have all 5 of those games.

Fun fact: there's a PS3 version that comes with Littlebigplanet and Infamous. I personally would have preferred PSN credit, but this is fine. I just wish my PSN would be back. I don't really have any online games, but I would like to use the store and synch trophies.

Oh, guys keep on topic, please~

The more I think about it, the more I wish Sony would have given PS+ members a wider selection of games to choose. I mean, they basically picked the most purchased PSN games that were the oldest. Almost everyone has played these games. Hell, I would have preferred if they let us pick a high quality game instead of two average games.

PSN is a free service. Be lucky that they're giving you anything.

Never asked for anything though. Rather have nothing then crappy games.

I can say that the only thing that bugs me about the freebies is that Europeans can get Ratchet and Clank, but Americans can't. It doesn't help that the only other free game that I have any interest in (InFamous) is something I already have. Still, I'm not complaining about Sony giving us stuff for free and I'll probably grab Wipeout HD, Modnation Racers and Killzone Liberation.

    I feel the same way...

Chev, I swear u just read my mind.
$30-$50 in credit would've been just fine for me but two games were probably just the cheap way out for Sony...

I would have loved store credit, but it would have cost Sony a huge deal of money to do that, seeing as how there are over 20 million PSN users.

Try over 70 million or something.

Even going by 20 million, with a minimum $30 credit, that's $6 000 000 000 lost. It's probably easier to give some games for download instead (and cheaper too).

Over 77 Million to be exact. Also if they gave store credit I would have been shocked. I mean that is a ton of money like you said.
