PS3 titles

Hello everyone, im looking for a few games to buy on PS3, im leaning towards Resistance: Fall of Man and Armored Core 4, what are your suggestions as to what games I should get?

I am a fan of AC, been playing it since the Genesis days lol, and im actually not a fan of sport titles, but ill look into the vitua fighter game also, thanks

it's a racing game n' i've heard it's quite good. but you may want to get other people's opinion.

 

Don't take my opinion very highly since I've onlu demoed Motor Storm at EBGames.

Graphics are obviously very nice--and I was porting it at 720P at the time, not 1080P, and the mechanics of it seem to be far more realistic than most of the other racers I've played (translation: I sucked *** at it for a while until I got the hang of it).

I've never really been a fan of racers, which is probably why I haven't bought it. But I was rather amused by how long they'd prolong those slow-motion crash sequences. I literally watched my driver tumble down the rocky cliff for a good 30-45 seconds before they reset me (unless you have to press a button.. but I never did).

 

Oblivion and resistance right now, then pick up fear, and lair later on, then get heavenly sword and assasins creed.

 

Thank you, I wasnt too sure about Oblivion, but it DOES look pretty cool....I do want AC4 though so I will probably get AC4 and oblivion, my friend has resistance and never plays it so I could just borrow that off him sometime lol. so so far, my projected list is this:

1)Armored Core 4
2)Oblivion
3)Resistance
4)Genji
5)Virtua Fighter 5

and then FEAR and the rest I will get some other day, thanks again for helping...

 

Don't get Genji.

It appeals to you now, but it's not worth it. I beg of you. Lame excuse for an action RPG.

 

If I were you, I'd get Fatal Frame four which is coming out for PS3 in a few months I believe. I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan, it's just there's a umor that this is going to be the best and scariest ^.~

But as for games that are out now, I don't know, I haven't played 'em.

 

Genjis not worth it? I played through the prologue on my friend's ps3 and thought it was awesome...and he said its like the coolest game he has on ps3(he has genji, motorstorm and resistance)....but mkay, no genji...and Hissora, could you tell me about Fatal Frame? I have never played any of the previous titles

yes i wasted 60 bucks on that thing! and when i traded it in to gamestop they onjly gave me 20 credit!!!!!!! but a game that lasts would be SONIC the hedghog'07 yes it is glitchy but it gets fun once your used to it otherwise the game sucks badly but it's not a total waste!;)

 

See? lack of good games, and a small amount of games in general, is why the PS3 is failing. yes, it's failing. It's been outsold by the PS2, DS, everything, and that's in a month. It's currently the wrost-selling of this generation.

 

Oh right, you're that Wii activist. Arc is asking for PS3 titles suggestions, not a market opinion.

And I wouldn't start saying that just yet, -Sora Nuva-, the PS3 is like a sleeping lion in terms of how it's doing in the market. With PlayStation Home on its way and lots of the anticipated titles due this year and next (Warhawk, Assassin's Creed, Fabula Nova Crystallis, Shirokishi, etc), "currently the worst" is the very most you can call the PS3.

Unless you really want those titles, Arc, I'd suggest just waiting it out--in terms of titles. The best is yet to come.

 

Genji was awesome, i borrowed it from a friend and played up to when you get the fourth character and it surprises me to hear people saying how bad it is lol, but oh well. As for waiting it out-not an option, im impatient, and I want it now lol! games that will last me until FFXIII comes out is mainly what im wanting seeing as I already have both XIII and versus XIII preordered and paid for XD I decided to just buy Armored Core 4 and then wait for FEAR and Devil May Cry 4(90% of the reason i wanted a ps3)to come out to buy another game, at best AC4 will at least let me dominate online lol.

you should always try games before buying them but i would darkness kingdom. It kind've rushes you into the game at first but you can do many combos every character has magic and the demons vary a lot
