PS3 price drop. Would you buy it now?

to be 100% honest I only by a new game system If I really want a game and It doesn't game on any of the other systems I already have.
I was the same thing for KH and KHII I wanted them so bad that after a year of asking my mom finally caved and I got PS2 and all three KH games.

 

I don't know why people say they're gonna get a PS3 when Kingdom Hearts (Unknown project) comes out, I mean it's not the only game on the PS3 is it, it's not worth it for one game, let's say Kingdom Hearts X is crap you would regret buying a PS3 wouldn't you because care about the game and not the console, you don't care if you leave other disks on the floor to get scratched or break and care for Kingdom Hearts X, surely one of the games from E3 most of convinced you to buy a PS3, Wii or Xbox 360, I know the trailer of MGS4 did.

I would have already bought one but i have no job and i don't want mom to get it because then if she got mad at me she could take it because "it was he money so she can do what she wants with it" and i hate it when she does that. so i want to get it myself but i cant cuz of no job.
i'm too lazy to get a job...

 

I'm saving up for it, but I'll still waiting for the bugs to be fixed and for the price to go down a bit more. But I might just change my mind and get a 360.

What, it isn't a PS2 with better graphics and more features, that's like saying that the Wii is a upgraded console of the gamecube and the Xbox 360 is a updated version of the Xbox, which would not make them Next Gen and also the PS3 has things you can't do on a PS2 or any other console. Once the game designers fully master the unreal engine you won't be able to tell whether it's real or not, plus blueray helps alot, Heavenly Sword uses it to make thousands of enemies appear at the same time, Kingdom Hearts 2 with the 1000 Heartless battle does not count, most of them are illusions, if the game had about 1000 real Heartless the game would freeze or the disk would crack.

You do know no games will come out for the PS2 at 2009 or 2008?

If you want it to be cheaper you'll have to wait till probably Christmas or in Spring 2008 or Next Summer.

I was planning to buy on buying it anyway, sometime in the future. If they introduce it in Europe i'll probably get it sooner than i planed.

 

I still have no current intention of buying it at this point in time, no matter how far the price goes down. Right now all of the games I enjoy are for the PS2, and I'm not going to get the PS3 until they star making my favorite games for that platform. Kingdom Hearts, mainly.

Until then...no. It would be relatively worthless to me.
