Go Fat DS. Show that ugly people can be great. <>

Japan is big on handhelds, they are dominating the market.

...Because you can carry them around with you and play games wherever and whenever you please. Unlike a console which sits in a fix steady spot.

My point is that it's PORTABLE. It is designed to be used whenever and wherever wanted. The charging and whatever is all part of the maintenance the user must do to make it work.

    Uh....

    (User manual)

-Do not use operate DS within 9 in. of a pacemaker while using wireless features.
-Take a 10-15 min. break every hour, even if you don't think you need it.
-Play in a well lit room.
-Do not play when you are tired or need sleep.
-If you have a pacemaker implanted medical device do not use wireless feature of DS without first consulting doctor.

A more accurate statement would be: It is designed to be used with regulations of the user manual.

The 40GB is helping, they are buying it and a Dualshock 3, but it's also helping in America and Europe, it's forcing people to buy the 60GB or 80GB quickly before they run out, the 60 GBs are sold out everywhere where I live except Mill Hill's Argos. Just proves that BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY IS NOT EVERYTHING! The best way to play PS2 games is on a PS2, if you never have had a PS2, buy the 40 GB, simple as that. And I think what people saying about them not having enough space to put there PS2 and PS3 is bull****, unplug your PS2, put it at the side, it's dosen't take long to set up a PS2 again unless your lazy.

Buy a new one then, there only $80.00 at Gamestop, not that much if you ask me.

The PSP you have to charge every 4 hours, DS lite you charge for 6 Hours you get to have 12 Hours of Battery Life.

DrMario wtf is your problem. The sales say everything against your stupid arguments anyway. But seriously it's not that big a deal that handhelds do well.

Okay, well being a'nal (can't spell this word for some reason correctly) over the word -anytime- seems kind of pointless here. She -meant- that hand held consoles can be taken with you to such places as out of your house and you have the luxury of keeping it on your person, wandering about and pulling it out at leisure to play, whereas with a home console, it's pretty well staying connected to your telly and that's how it goes.

I also really never had a need for a portable device since when I go out it's usually to somewhere that a portable console is inappropriate at or I am with friends that I'd much rather socialize with than ignore them and pull out a game. However, I can see why they are popular to other people, because they do have the time to play them and places to go where it's not so out of place. People have liked taking little games with them since things like Gigapets were invented back when. Others of us don't really have a reason to.

To get back on track, it seems like the PS3 is doing better even in the U.S. and that's cool to me. I'm eager to see how well it does in 2008 when the even better games are coming out for it.

Ha ha wow. I'm surprised there was even an agrument about the portablity of a handheld, even with the name of Playstation Portable. XD XD XD

Anyway no more talk of handhelds, this is about the PS3.

I plan to get a 40GB PS3. Because it's cheaper and has a better bundle deal, and I can't find the 60GB anyway. Also my I still have a working PS2, sure it will take up a bit more space, but it's there if I ever want to play PS2 games.

I don't really give a damn, which one I get, I just want one eventually. xD
As soon as I buy my HDTV, I'm going to buy either the PS3 or the Xbox360, haven't decided. ;P
