PS3 or Xbox 360

The only point I made was to clear up the "Xbox 360 is infinitely cheaper than the PS3" bullshit, when clearly, it's in the same price range. There's nothing cheaper about the 360, especially when compared to the PS3, it thrives on it's online community, while the PS3 focuses more on being a multimedia system.

Again, why the **** are you a mod again? Not only are you unintelligent, you're also a selective reader AND you are incoherent.

 

Actually, it really is. $299.99+$49.99 (I don't list headset because the 60gb system for $299.99 comes with one and you already know why I left out the wireless) is still less than $399.99. It isn't infinitely cheaper, but it's still about $50 cheaper. That could buy a title that just recently had a price drop or it could buy a couple older games. And yes, we all realize that the 360 needs XBL and that the PS3 is multimedia.

And that was highly unnecesary.

anyways, i own a PS3 and do not own an Xbox360. however, one thing i noticed is that the PS3 seems to not have many RPGs and that Xbox360 does which is why i'm starting to wonder if i picked the right system for me. as for other features, those are secondary and the games are what matter the most to me. i honestly don't know or care which system is technologically better because my opinion is to look at the games and see which ones you actually like better. because it's the games that actually matter. and to be honest, i would love to own BOTH systems since they both have games i want.

 

I just spent random money on the cheap Xbox 360 and I gotta say, it ain't worth it. I didn't think I needed a hard drive to play Xbox live. The PS3 is way better. I also found out that I could hook my PSP up to the Xbox 360 at any time.

 

Well if Halo 3 was on the PS3:
About 5 times longer Campaign
About 5 times as many maps
About 5 times as many guns
About 5 times as many different character models (aka bad guys and good guys)
About 5 times as many Map editor items
About 5 times as many Cut Scenes
Slightly faster load times

Well Halo 3 would never be on the PS3 in the first place. And even if it was, there would be nowhere near that much content added to it. At most the it'd be pretty much the same game just not as compressed. And even with the game installed, the load times would be the same.

 

I just got a 160GB PS3 and I love it!
It's quiet, has awesome graphics, long controller life and good games
(the "original" color theme changes color at different times of the day: white in the day, black at night!)
if you get it, get Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and LittleBigPlanet. Drake's fortune is fun and has GREAT graphics, and LittleBigPlanet has good 2D graphics and you can customize your character and make your own world (the game is exclusive to PS3 and is apparently the only game that Nintendo wants from another console) and the system is worth the price.

We warned you not to buy that gimped arcade version of the 360. @0gb-60gb is what you should have got and you wouldn't complaining. I own both a PS3 and 360 and I msut sya, they aren't that different.

I think that the PS3 has better games. Also I can play my favorite PS2 games and all PS3s come with a hard drive.

The Xbox maybe cheaper but I wouldn't recomend it.

Shadowjack, the whole reason I got the Xbox was to play some of those games. The Xbox is ok but Im just more in to final fantasy games and other stuff by square enix and the whole free wifi thing with the psn. Im just saying that if was down to my last $500 I would get a PS3.
