PS3 or Wii

the Wii is better in my opinion cause of the gameplay though the graphics arent that great (at least it doesnt "explode")

and Kingdom Hearts 3 isnt confirmed though there are a few new ones coming out on the PSP and DS (cant wait for either to come out)

Same here PS3 have the sloooooow realeases while th wii has faster one eg:rayman raviding rabbids 2 and mario galaxy come out togeher today

Those are the list of Playstation 3 and Wii games, some of them are not exclusive while some may have switched platforms but yeah, the PS3 has less games than the Wii but it doesn't matter since I doubt you can get all those games in a year, but what you have to ask yourself is which games will you be missing out if you get the other console, if you get a PS3 you may miss Super Mario Galaxy which was so good it got a 9.7 rating from IGN, if you choose the Wii you miss Final Fantasy XIII and the other Final Fantasy XIII title, it's your choice but you may want to buy one console this Christmas and another console the next.

Then again, I've never owned or played an Xbox game ever in my life (actually, I did play 2 minutes of Lego Star Wars back in August), so the xbox has never gotten any revenue from me. It's quite surprising how all these years, there hasn't been a single xbox exclusive that has made me want to get an xbox console (until now; see below). But that's mostly because of my explicit JRPG needs/wants.

On the note of JRPG, Infinite Undiscovery the first xbox exclusive I've craved to play. It was a mind-boggling experience.

Sony and Nintendo both have my business, so I really couldn't care less how each of them were doing in relation to each other. Give me my Brawl and give me my Final Fantasy (and possibly KH?), and whatever other JRPGs I've come to like, and I'm good.

I laughed at this, because the PS3 is beating the Wii and 360 in Japan and the PS3 is in second place in Europe with the 360 third, if you don't believe me check out Gamespot.

 

You are 2/3 right. I'm talking on the Western side of the continents. In America, it's currently the top and their games appeal way more gamers than most of wiis and ps3s.

But it can't be scaled correctly since the 360s been out for way longer.

It's true that ps3 is reeaally slow to have good games but when you buy them you'll play them for month

 

Like Soush the my main interest is the PS3 and Wii. But the 360 has tempted me a few times, but most the games I would like to get on it are multi-platform so I don't mind too much.

I thought the Wii was dominating sales? Or at least neck and neck.

Considering the 360's year advantage it as a wider selection, but it can't shake off the fact that most of it's great games are shooters. Halo 3, Bioshock, Gears of War etc. This time last year one great 360 game came out and that was Gears of War. Well this time technically the Wii and PS3 should have it's great game, for the Wii it's Mario Galaxy. As for the PS3, considering the added time it takes to make a PS3 game it's coming about 6 months late. =/

I see 2008 being a great year for the Wii and PS3. If the Wii can be consistant and bring out great games often, and even better great third party games then might dominate.

Never buy a console for one game, you just get bored with it. D;
