So, for some reason, the old drivers I used to use so that I could play PC games with my PlayStation 3 SixAxis controller aren't working.

What would I need to do so that I can do so again? I saw some threads, but they pertain mainly to Window 7, and I'm running XP.

    Help please :<

    Would this help?

It's what I use. It also emulates Xbox 360 controllers, so if a game doesn't support PS3 controllers, you can trick it into thinking it's an Xbox 360 controller.

That one used to work, but I don't get why it isn't anymore.

    MotionInJoy didn't work either.

I think my problem stems from my controller not being recognized at all by my PC. I don't know how to remedy this so far.

Is it connected via Bluetooth or USB? I've found that a USB connection is most effective on a PC. You might also want to try pressing the Logo button in the center of the controller.

As for MotionInJoy, have you loaded the drivers in the Driver Manager tab first, or is it not showing the device there either?

I only ever use the USB connection.

And I guess I figured it out: I had to use the bottom USB slot for the controller instead of the top. Maybe the drivers are only installed for that USB slot? I dunno.

Driver's are limited to a single USB slot. It might just be that your USB plug has a bad connection to that top USB slot.
