PS2 (think its slim) Problem

OK so last night I had to study so I turn off my PS2 I closed the game I was playing (FFX) I had to disconnect the ac adapter from the outlet that connects to the wall so later I'm done studying and a re put everything where it belongs the light is still gray and no matter what i don't it wont turn on!!! Last night there was a lightning storm so a tried again this morning and it still won't work ! Can someone please tell me what I did to my PS2. And how the heck i can fix it. Please and Thank you

 

Plug something else into the outlet to see if it works (a lamp would be my first choice). If the new device doesn't work either I would check any curcuit breakers or surge protectors that are used there. My guess would be that in the lightning storm one of those tripped and it has nothing to do with your PS2.

If that isn't the case and you are getting power from the outlet then the problem is your PS2, but where in the PS2 is hard to say. I would guess that one of the cables or connections is going bad, if you've got a friend with the same kind of PS2 see if his AC adapter works for yours.

If neither of those is the problem post again and I'll see if there is anything that you might want to try.

 

I called my friend Jake the gamer expert and we found out it was because the outlet wasn't working right. Yea i'm so stupid that i couldn't figure that out xD
