ps2 probelm

    My playstaion 2 won't spin the disc. help plz. i want to play my games.

    Have you touched that little thing inside that look like lenses? If so. It's dead. Sorry. :(

    I never thoughed the lense. my stepdad throw the table it was on.

    if its a slim... Check towards the back of the whe the disk goes ther should be a little sticky out bit that goes in a small hole when the tray is closed if the "stick" is broken this is ur problem it can easily b fixed eg. with a pin or spring.... hope i helped...

    Did you plug in your PS2? Just getting that question out of the way.

    If your disc isn't spinning, then it's not even a lens issue, since it's not even being given the chance to read the disc at all. The entire drive itself seems to have failed. If you're under warranty then I suggest you go back to the retailer you bought it from and ask for a replacement. If not, send it in to Sony for a repair/replacement.

    If your warranty is up, then there are many independents out there who can do PS2 repairs for a cheaper price than having to buy a whole new console.

    Adding to what you said, since many don't know about these shops.

    While driving down the street, look for any small shop kind of thing that says PC Repair or something along those lines, alot of times they will do simple console repair(drive replacement, etc) for a cheap price.
