PS Trophies Video

I remember watching this earlier today. One of the many steps that will make Playstation 360 owners like myself start thinking twice about which console to buy multiplatform games for.

 

Finally I've been waiting for this for a long time =D

 

I saw this earlier. I cant wait till July 2nd, I can finally play my own music while doing things other then Folding@Home lol. Luckily I havent beaten any long games that would make me cringe to have to replay just for trophies.

 

Looks like I will be playing GTA and MGS again. XD

Oh well.

 

I find myself being amused if during the epic slow-motion punching scenes between Snake and Liquid you have a random "You unlocked a trophy! - Liquid Killer" showing up on the top right of the screen.

 

lol, that would be funny.

It would be interesting to see what humour Hideo will put into them.

In-game XMB will be good also. Custom Soundtrack FTW.

 

Totally forgot about that.

Yeah! Now we can listin to some of our own music while playing games! I've been waiting for that XD.

It figures that with the good comes the bad. Although in this case its not so much bad as it is just not as helpful as some previously thought. You pretty much still have to exit games to access most things, granted it'll be faster since it'll only be at the home xmb for a sec before going into whatever option you choose. Future updates will probably slowly maximize the usefullness of the in-game xmb. Its still overall a good improvement and now its up to the devs to make use of this update as soon as possible. Lets just hope future games make good use of that custom soundtrack option<3

That last question was also awesome.

 

This seems pretty cool. Too bad it's my dad's PS3. I rarely get to play it.

Yeah, accessing the PS store and the internet is pretty useless unless you're one of people that cant live without gamefaqs lol. I was just expecting voice chat and the xmb in all things, not just PS3 titles. I cant wait for the trophies either. Gives me another reason to get some more games from the PS store~

 

I don't mean to bait the console wars, but this pretty much is another slap in the face for 360 subscribers who actually have to pay for Live.

Finally, rock band isnt going to be the only game with in game xmb message box.

 

It's now going to be harder for those who have both consoles and will want to but a multi-platform game. Achievements or trophies? XD

Though personally with a level system it feels like each trophy is one step closer to the next level. But with the 360 if you have like 20,000 points, a 10 point achievement seems pretty meaningless.

1-UP Sony, now concentrate on that there software and don't lose exclusives to Mircosoft. >>

Ingame messaging will be great, there has been times I got messages but I was playing a game, but then I forgot about them.
