Pronounced dead so why am I here?

People die everyday to never return to this world again. Families are shattered, people grieve, they move on. It's common sense right? Wrong.
People have died everyday, but something strange is happening.
It's June 17th, 2021, and everything makes absolutely no sense. People that have been Pronounced dead are still alive, but without a beating heart. They are every bit human and still have a functioning brain, but no heart to pump blood in their system. So how are they alive you ask?
Well that we don't know.
What we do know however, is that their organs are full of electricity which allows them to live without a functioning heart. Another thing that is unexplained is that whenever they come back they seem to develop a few superhuman abilities. These people have no blood in their system so they cannot bleed. They have no functioning organs so they cannot feel anything. They also have no functioning heart so they don't need to breathe.

When they come back they have no memories of when they were alive. They have no identity, no past, and technically don't exist. Society calls them "creepy", "freaks", "nothing", etc. and they aren't really accepted by anyone. They constantly have to go into hiding from the humans since they aren't accepted in society.

Therefore, he chose the name Chase. He has control over the water, in other words being able to, if he can, channel it, and breath underwater also.

Bio she was 16 when she received the fateful news. cancer is a hard thing for everyone, but it seems to be even worse on a teenage girl. there was so much that you miss out on. her body was able to pull through until after graduation, but shortly after she turned 19 things took a turn for the worse. she didn't make it, no matter how hard she fought. the doctors told her family she was one of the bravest they had ever seen. not many can hold out for that long. after she 'died' she found a book series about angels that live on earth, but to humans they were vampires. one of the angelic names really stuck with her. it wasn't the name of a good fallen angel, but of chaos. she chose that name, since this new 'afterlife' felt so unnatural. {her supernatural ability?? umm...she can move things telepathically}

Bio karter's younger sister died 6 months ago from lukemia, it was the hardest thing his family had ever gone through. the last three years had been torture and couldn't bare to watch his sister suffer. they had grown apart during that time frame, so he felt guilty that they were so distant, so close to the end of her life. he had heard all about these undead people popping up, and felt like he should see if his sister was one of them, but then thought about how much more torture it would be to his family. they already had to live through her dying, and now they would have to see her without a memory and with little emotion. he wanted to find her and just see her one last time, to apologize for the way he acted, but he also thought that this 'rebirth' was unnatural. his family was a religious one and just the thought of his younger sisters body roaming the earth made his skin crawl. {weapon- he knows his way around a shot gun or two}

Bio has never had anyone super close to her die. momo's just rather facinated with the fact that the dead can come back to life. she's even tried to kill herself a couple times in experimentation with the idea. the attempts were to no avail. she was just never good with ending her life and was caught every time. her family decided to have her seek therapeutic advising. momo wasn't thrilled with the idea, but complied. she eventually gave up her attempts, but it didn't change the way she felt about these people. {she has no weapon}

Everyone's in. And what I meant by not feeling anything is they don't have working organs and all that so they don't feel anything physically and emotionally. And anyone can come back as long as they still have a body to come back in. Those that were cremated won't come back.
