The (in)famous Neogaf strikes once again with another leak, this time sharing a list of launch titles for Wii 2, the name of which is Project Cafe. The validity of this list is not known, but Neogaf has been doing this kind of stuff accurately for some time now which makes it pretty plausible. Also, it wouldn't surprise me if Nintendo had something to do with the leak, it would be a pretty smart move actually. Notice the Kingdom Hearts title. It could very well mean the long awaited KH3, whilst a plausible scenario is for it to be multiplatform since Nomura didnt get us used to releasing important KH titles for Nintendo consoles. The one who posted that list claims it came from "a friend of his who has a contact in NoA". Sure. All the other users on NeoGAF seemed extremely doubtful about that list being anything but a gamer' s wish list. Honestly I hope it' s fake, I mean come on, a new KH on Café ? ANOTHER ****ing console to buy ? Does Nomura want someone to put out a contract on his head ?
This only makes it more plausible, if anything... :P (But seriously, it wouldn't surprise me if it did come out on Project Cafe/Wii2/Whatever. Square Enix seems to want to make it as difficult as possible to be a KH fan. The games span like 4 consoles/handhelds as of now, not counting the upcomming 3DS game or the phone version of Coded.)
libregkd makes valid points and I agree with most all of them. But like anyone I'd love to believe it's true. That a console with that much power and CPA ology is coming to the Market that it'll be able to do such things, but it's validity is in question, and until I actually see the machine in action I can't judge if it could handle the job of these high end games. Though a new KH game could come on this new console if it really is as powerful as it is claimed, since Nomura stated that the 'Keyblade War' would require more powerful technology then what's on the market at the moment. So it's entirely possible a new KH game will be on these post-next-gen consoles, but it may not necessarily be about KH3. And 'Legend of Paper Zelda'???? One part of me says yes the other says no.
It's pretty obvious that this is fake, just from the fact that Grand Theft Auto V is on that list makes it obviously fake. No way Rockstar would release GTAV on a Nintendo console with even timed-exclusivity. They know that their fanbase are not on Nintendo platforms and they would never shoot themselves in the leg like that by releasing it timed-exclusive on a Nintendo console. It would have been pretty cool if the list was cool, though.
I don't think I believe that list. Some of those games sound really lame, not too mention...who would think of making a "Legend of Paper Zelda"? That's just sickening.
