Problems when downloading

Well, here's the thing, whenever i try to download something, it says the download is complete after it gets to around 4%, and it stops downloading the Program right after.
Anyone know what could be the problem?

 

1. Is it for one particular file in general or anything you try to download? If it's just one thing it might just be a corrupt download.

2. Make sure your computer has enough disk-space for the download(s). Also try doing a disk cleanup (Start --> Programs--> Accessories-->System Tools--> Disk Cleanup)

3. Make sure your computer isn't idle during the download (sleep mode, screen saver, etc) often your ISP stops the download if the computer is inactive.
