Kingdom Hearts II Probably a REALLY stupid theory

but yeah...I really wanna know who Axel's "somebody" is...it drives me crazy, and being an only child with absolutely no life, I have too much time to think...

Riku let Ansem (er...Xehanort's Heartless) into his heart or something like that. in Kingdom Hearts I AND in Kingdom hearts II he took on "Ansem's" appearence so that he could use darkness...
So that could be considered giving into the darkness
Thus, a nobody was almost positively created

I know!! Riku isn't an anagram of Axel! but lookie here....

if Axel really is Riku's nobody, then could the fact that Ansem was involved have an effect on that?
No, it's not a perfect anagram, but it doen't need to be...
Example:
XEHANORT=XEMNAS

Also the bond between them
Sora and Riku....they're best friends
Roxas and Axel...they're best friends
Roxas was Sora's nobody....sooo...could that mean anything?

please tell me if I'm really on to something or if I'm just being stupid. XP

 

I've been wondering the same thing, but haven't given it much thought. It does seem possible though....and the fact that Sora/Riku are friends, and Roxas/Axel are friends..gives me even more of a reason to believe that you're on to something.​

A nobody is only created when you loose your heart and Riku never lost his. Therefore, Riku doesn't have a nobody.

Xemnas is an anagram of Ansem with an X at th beginning

Yes, but Xemnas wasn't Ansem's nobody, he was Xehanort's. Ansem was the name of Xehanort's heartless.

But since Riku was consumed/possesed by a Heartless, couldn't that have caused an affect on him?

Personally I don't think Axel is Riku's nobody, but anything is possibly with Nomura in charge.....

 

Correct Xemnas is Xehanort's nobody, but before he lost his heart he called himself Ansem. Proof of that is in Secret Ansem Reports #3

Well, there's another couple of things that oppose your theory :
-Axel doesn't look anything like Riku ; Xemnas and Roxas, on the other hand, are very similar in appearance to Xehanort and Sora.
-If Axel was Riku's Nobody, don't you think he would be using a keyblade, since Riku's a keyblade master ? Or that he would use the element of darkness, rather than fire ?

 

The whole problem with the "Riku never lost his heart thing" is, he DID lose his heart. When he gave into the darkness and turned into that "other" Riku in the first game, he lost it, if only for a while. Which in turn could have created a nobody. Sora is the perfect example... Sora has a nobody, and yet is still alive. Why? Because he had lost his heart, I assume, when Namine had to pretty much erase him. Thus creating a nobody... But then Sora was brought back, and so both his Nobody and him coexist. Same could be said about Riku.

But, I don't think it's Axel. >.> I dunno who it would be, but I imagine they would look alike if they were a part of eachother.

 

I agree. Just look at Xemnas he looks like his counterpart. If Riku does have a nobody then it would most likely resemble a part of him. Just like Soras nobody, they are not a 100% but they still resemble eachother.

 

Riku did NOT lose his heart, Ansem just posessed him. Besides, if Riku lost his heart he would have become a heartless. And Sora lost his heart when he used the dark keyblade to free Kairi's heart. He became a heartless and Roxas was created. Then Kairi brought him back.

I guess you could be right. But the age difference is something of a problem...Oh well.
To those who say Riku would have needed to have lost his heart, in the first game I specifically recall Ansem saying, "Your voice can no longer reach him where he is. His heart belongs again to darkness."

 

Yeah, well that wouldn't make much sense : if you recall, Ansem wanted a body, a host for his heart, since he was practically a ghost. If Riku became a Heartless, his body would've gone away to Twilight Town along with his mind, to be reborn as a Nobody. But in KH1, Ansem kept Riku's body until the light from Kingdom Hearts nearly anihilated him : then we saw Riku, heart body and mind, on the other side of the door. My guess is, if he had a Nobody, he was short-lived since he seems to have retrieved his body right away. I don't even think Riku became a Hearless : when he delayed Ansem to save Kairi in Hollow Bastion, that was his heart intervening. His heart was probably locked aside in his body, but it wasn't completely overwhelmed since he returned very quickly once Ansem was defeated.

Besides like I said, they are nothing alike. And I mean nothing. Riku does not look like Axel, he doesn't behave like him, he hasn't got any affinity for fire...

 

Xehanort STOLE ansems name.

This is theory that tons of people are wondering about. (I should know, I'm one of them.)

This what I came up with:

Sora......Roxas
Kairi.......Namine
Selphi....Olette
Tidus......Hayner
Wakka....Pence
Riku........Axel


For each important character in Sora's life, there is an equal one in Roxas's. They are all related in some way. Except for Selphie, Tidus, Wakka, Olette, Hayner, and Pence, our three main characters each have something in common with the other three main characters. THINK ABOUT IT!!!!

 

As a big fan of Axel, I think that it's possible. Really out there but possible. I just don't see how you could go from grey/silver hair to bright red hair but still it is Kingdom Hearts so anything is possible.
