Kingdom Hearts Princesses of Heart

so i was playing the games recently, and this thought came to my head. if kairi can get older, so can the other princesses of heart, and they'll eventually die. does that mean that there will be more princesses of heart born? or will that just be the end of them? just a thought...

 

I would have to say they'll keep the cycle going with the Princesses of Heart.

Think of it as an Internet meme. The darkness will always return; therefore, there will always be Princesses of Heart. Think of it this way. If the darkness returned, but there were no more Princesses of Heart, what would happen? The answer to that is that the darkness will consume everything and turn a lot of living things into heartless without nothing to stop it.

 

Huh...I smell I plot for a future game. Possibly.

I don't think Disney would let the Princesses die, so that might end this theory. Aside from that their role kinda ended after the first game, Xemnas didn't need the 7 to open his Kingdom Hearts so I dunno if it really matters.

If it did matter there would have to be 7 Pure hearts in the worlds so they might have other princesses take the roles(example: Repunzel, Tiana, ARIEL who should have counted in the first one, etc).

 

Disney Characters don't age. The Square-Enix characters do, so this is actually invalid. I'd like to see older Disney characters though.

 

Well Kairi would eventually have to be replaced. I was thinking the same on Disney, they change appearance(like in timeless river being the past), but never die unless killed.

 

If/When they ever die I would think that:
A. Their daughter(if they have one) might become a Princess of Heart or if they had a son maybe even a Prince of Heart
B. It moves on to another Princess
Anyway that's just my two cents.

 

If they don't end the KH series after this, I believe it will be like Square Enix does with Final Fantasy, there will be totally new characters, new plot etc.

 

I reckon, in the entire Kingdom hearts series for any future game, Kairi won't be killed and neither will the other Disney characters. Only the Disney characters that die in the film die in game so the other 6 would live on. They don't really age much or change in appearance unless the film does, so I don't think they'll die. As for Kairi, she has been the main love interest to this whole game, she has been the motivation for Sora and has affected the game plot in many ways, it wouldn't bw good to kill her off I don't think.

If they were to die though, I don't think there would. These are the only 7 Princesses of heart are my thoughts, but then again, I think the point is that they are just very rare.

 

I would think it is kind of like in Dissidia.
Where the Good and Bad guys return endlessly.

They also could be eternal beings, in their respective worlds. We really have no info on this however.

 

I'm pretty sure if a Princess of Heart went bye-bye there would be a new one, because there has to be 7 at all times. But some disney characters age, like Tarzan. Didn't any of you watch that movie when you were young? Or what about Wendy from Peter Pan? She grew up a lot

 

I guess Square could show some Princesses in older versions in next installments, but that would work for those of them that had a sequel, like in Ariel's case. But even though she has a daughter in the Disney version later on, i guess she doesn't count since she doesn't belong among the seven of heart. We've seen though sequels of Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, Alladin, so i guess we could say that in future games those princesses will be older (although i am not sure how time flows in each and every KH world, maybe there are differences like in Digimon XD). But i doubt if should we even bother with the possible loss of even one of them, for the simple reason of the slow progress of the game. All of those things, aside from the events of BBS, happened in two years so yeah..., i guess in twenty years Sora will be seventeen years old fighting Heartless...

Also, as others said, i guess it works as a cycle, there will always be princesses of Heart as long as there are those who have a pure heart, as there will always be key bearers.

Also, I'm unsure as to how to view the princess thing either.
I mean, everyone has valid points. But I don't see Square/Disney ever killing the princesses... so... it doesn't really matter right? lol

Anyway i think that it would pass on to a daughter or a son... And also, it wants 7 pure hearts right? What about what Xehanort did to Ventus? Ventus' heart was made pure.... Unfortunately, there was still darkness... if they had to, they could make 7 pure hearts the way xehanort did (even though i think only keybladers can do that so it would be a little wonky....)

It's been a while since i played the first game so my memory of it isn't crystal clear, but i only remember her being mentioned by Peter Pan and not actually making an appearance, but like i said i could be wrong.

 

Yeah Wendy is indeed in the first game, Captain Hook gets annoyed at the fact she isn't a princess of heart. (on a side note they never killed Captain Hook so they might bring Peter Pan back in a sequel)

On Xehanort's Report, I still find it odd that Kingdom hearts can be made three different ways, the X-Blade, 7 Princesses of Heart, and the collection of countless hearts. One being perfect, and another incomplete.

 

make that 2 being imperfect, because with the 7 Princesses like Maleficent used and what Xemnas did, both were technically incomplete. But I didn't know, this; this is interesting. But, maybe the reason they thought of that was because they tried using the Princesses, Nobodies used hearts, and both failed, so I guess they tried to make it that Kingdom Hearts would be the perfect one in BBS because they didn't use any of those

 

Side note: originally, Ariel was one of the seven. The developers realized it would be difficult to work her into Hollow Bastion, though--like when they are all standing in the Chapel--because she is a mermaid, and replaced her with Alice.

I always assumed though that the Disney characters didn't age, though, haha. I suppose it's something we'll just have to wait and see... but I really doubt that they would kill off Disney characters that did not die in their respective movie.

 

the Disney characters DONT age. in BBS, we see Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. ten years later, in KH1, we see them again and they havent changed. the only Disney character who has changed as far as i can tell is Hercules. young in BBS, older in the rest of the series.

 

Well, I guess since we can count the main characters as half-disney, so maybe that counts? But they age. I mean, there's plenty of of them that we've seen age.

 

What do you expect? To see wrinkles on their faces? During BBS they were at their adolescence, KH takes place only ten years later, you can't expect them to have changed much. Plus, as far as i remember Cinderella at her third Disney sequel was designed slightly older but i could be wrong.
