ummm...using psp right now so I can't see the vid...but if this is the next gen POP give me credit for finding the trailer...I posted it in the other thread first(Prince of Persia next gen)...good idea for making a new thread for the trailer...although I was going to do it tomorrow.
It's cool...I posted a link(not directly) to the trailer in the other POP thread...still...this is going to be the best game(hopefully) ever made by Ubisoft.
although i do agree it'll be epic, it has alot of compition like the elder scrolls seris, but it just might take the cup, plus the prince has claws now so if you dont like swords or knifes you van just slap them. btw is this the old or a new prince?
*Jaw drops* I gotta know if it´s comin for PS3 only or for other consoles as well, so I can know if I have to start savin money to buy a PS3 or not. And the prince (Errr... I mean unknown warrior) does look like someone else... hmm.... I hope it will turn out fantastic.
Uhh, the Prince of Persia series and the Elder Scrolls series are two completely different genre of games, they don't compete in the slightest...
although they are different genres it's on the subject of best Ubisoft game ever not best Ubisoft action adventure game ever.
That is what you call an understatement. If Ubisoft pulls off everything they say they can with this game...this would be their best POP game and most likely one of the best games Ubi has EVAR created.
yes it is a ubisoft game, they worked on it with bethesda, havok, speed tree and game bryo, i have elder scrolls 4 oblivin GOTYE on ps3 and im holding it now
The game was published by Ubisoft in Europe, and only in Europe, most likely because Ubisoft is a popular French developer. In the United States, it was published by 2K Games, an American developer. And in Japan, it was published by Spike, a Japanese developer. Neither of these companies made the game, they were all simply the ones to fund it's release in their respective territories. Ubisoft did not make the game, they were not responsible for the development of the game, and the developer of the game is not an owned property or studio for Ubisoft, it's not an Ubisoft game.
i have the ps3 version for australia so ubisoft helped the ps3 version's pc/console jump and helped distribute it.
That does not make it an Ubisoft game, becuase as I stated, that was only in Europe and Australia. In America, the PS3, PC, and 360 versions were published by 2K Games. In Japan, the PS3, PC, and 360 versions were published by Spike Co. Bethesda is an independent games developer, which means that they aren't owned by any of these companies, which also means that they usually don't have the funding to mass-produce and translate their games to be released worldwide, so they find a larger company known as a "Publisher" to give them money in order to mass-produce and translate their game to release in a specific region. So, 2K Games gave Bethesda money to release the Elder Scrolls in America, Ubisoft gave Bethesda money to release the Elder Scrolls in Europe and Australia, and Spike gave Bethesda money to release the Elder Scrolls in Japan. None of these companies own Bethesda, none of these companies own the rights to the Elder Scrolls series, and none of these companies made the Elder Scrolls series, it is not a 2k Games game, it is not an Ubisoft game, and it is not a Spike game, it is a Bethesda Game. The Elder Scrolls series is not competing with Prince of Persia, becuase the Elder Scrolls is not an Ubisoft game, it is made by a completely independent company.
hmmm...........seems you got me their, the first game argument i ever lost, i tip my hat off to you sir.
^pielover316; And it most likely will not be the last. This looks freaking awesome. Finally, we're going back to our Sands of Time roots instead of 'Warrior Within'.
So yeah, anyway, back to actually discussing the game. The art style looks great, the Cel-Shading art style has so much potential and it's great to see Developers take it to new places and really wow us, this is one of those games.
