Was browsing eBay and found this Asus refurbish. I don't need it since I already have a laptop, but I figured some of you guys might be interested.
story time my laptop fell off my desk on monday and broke ;__; so i may indeed consider this thank you~ also 71 sold holy crap, lol
It seems like a stripped down version of my Asus (the G550JK model,) mainly with no integrated GPU, a slower CPU, and slower HDD, but it adds a touchscreen and is, obviously hella cheaper. So I can say that the build quality is superb and it runs pretty well, especially for its price.
Appreciate the info. The specs look nearly the same as my previous laptop actually except mine had an i7, which... Well I only really did schoolwork on it so I can do without that, lol. It also didn't have a touchscreen & I feel like I would use that semi-frequently on one these days, so that's a nice touch. In the end I might just get my old one repaired (I'm fairly convinced it just needs a HDD replacement) but if I need a new one this is a definite contender.
given that I could actually afford that right now, and lose about 2/3 of my money, and I want a much better laptop....I think I might wait. It'd be nice to replace mine, but I can wait, and like I said, 2/3 of my money. That's too much. And I could swear that's the same laptop I saw at Best Buy the other day for $1000. I could be wrong though. Still, if nothing else, I can always go there and get a gaming laptop when I get the money....which will be never. They day I can buy my own laptop is the day I stop buying games
It probably is the same laptop from Best Buy, seeing as this is a manufacturer's refurbish. Also, if you do plan on getting a laptop for games, make sure it actually has an (at least decent) integrated GPU, though you probably know this already?
