Preferred Gaming Device

Out of all the current gaming devices out there, which do you prefer?
Me personally, I prefer my Ds Lite. I like using the stylus to play games. Plus it helps with fine motor skills something I'm sadly lacking.

 

I prefer to play on either my PC or PS2, simply because the screens are bigger.

I also like the PSP, as the graphics are exactly PS2-like, but I haven't used it recently.

 

I would have to say my favorite right now is my DS lite. I do have a PS2 and a PS3, but I play my DS the most. I haven't played any of the consoles lately, mostly because my family uses it and never let me play. Still, the DS has a lot more fun games that I enjoy.

 

The PlayStation 3. It has a ton of great exclusives, great online for free, reliable hardware. In the future, though, I think they need to improve the social aspect of their consoles. The PS3 comes with no microphone, and I think that was something that really hindered the social/online experience.

 

I guess I would have to say the PS2, but that's just because I like the games on it more than the DSlite

 

Hmm there was a time when I would've said Wii . . . but then everybody else came out with stuff that put Wii to shame lol jk
So I would have to say PS3 because I always have been, always will be a Sony fan. Though Xbox 360 comes in a shockingly second place. I like the Xbox 360 because it has more functional capabilities than the PS3 (like playing music while you play a game, which can be solved with an iPod and speakers) and the controls are similar. Though honestly if you asked me my favorite system ever . . . Nintendo the original system. I have spent so many hours of my life playing Mario/Duck Hunt, and Super Mario Bros. The Nintendo was a part of my child-hood and I will always love it ^_^ So technically it's like this.

3rd place . . . . . . . Xbox 360

 

For me, a choice between my PC and Xbox 360.

Not sure which one. I'm using PC more, but I love most all my Xbox collection of game.

 

I think mine would be the PS2, out of any gaming system the PS2 is the one I used the most. It has many great titles that I will cherish. I have never owned a PS3, Xbox 360 or high-end computer.

 

Well, I've always used the Playstation series but I'm more leaning towards PS3 for it's surprsing graphics and abilty to go online to get PS1 games thta wouldn't otherwise be on sale since PS1 games are now just reduced to being merely in charity stores, The PS2 is still a favourite of mine cause of the games I own from it and my PS3 is a 120gb model which sadly doesn't allow me to play PS2 games on it, so I switch back kand forth between PS2 and PS3.

I do own a PSP for mostly car travel purposes like 4-5 hours from my place to my grandmother's, so I'm actually happy I can play something while my mother drives, gives me the option not to be bored, not to mention installing my own music, videos and PS1 games.

I'm sure the Xbox/Xbox360 also provides it's own amazing graphics but I never played that console tons only once during a friend's visit to play some Halo and quickly adapted to the buttons as I was asked "Have you played this before?" and I just answered. "First time playing Xbox."

Nintendo DS I haven't really been playing much since I practically beaten every single game I owned and just waiting on a new NDS game to come out that I want which could be a while, the stylus was a nice addition though.

 

This is a hard one for me because there are so many different choices and combinations. Well...

It is probably my PSP. I put a lot of work into that every day. Now to some people who don't know me well or at all you won't really understand that but I do a lot of re designing in games and such and I also work on firmware to make it more of "my own". I just enjoy seeing my own creation on a system that is so well put together. Plus it being portable is a huge plus.

 

I would say my PS3. But unfortunately it suffered the "yellow light of death" so now I've been on my Jap. PS2 or my PSP. I have to say PSP though, just because it reminds me of my 3.

Mine would be a tie between the PS3 and PSP.

PS3 because it's got free online service, some great exclusives, plus it's the system that houses my favorite fighter right now, MvC3.

PSP because it's pretty much a portable PS3 in terms of the XMB, but with the power and graphics of a PS2. Unfortunately my PSP hasn't been able to play UMD's for almost 2 years now so I was never able to experience BBS. I'll get over it...Eventually.

I will be playing my 360 some because of Gears of War 3, but that's it.

 

I can't get enough of my wonderful Snes.

On a more serious note, I prefer my PS3. Cool features, free internet, high quality games and graphics and Blue-ray. I was glad that they didn't change the controller that much because I was used to the PS2 controller. Only better controller is the GameCube one, imo.
I dislike any handheld device. PSP has sucky games and makes my left thumb hurt like hell after 20 minutes of playing, and DS isn't my cup of tea because of its games. Mind you, I have both though.
