I've heard about this movie too. What I haven't heard is the release date, I thought it was in more than a just year. Oh, and what I also heard that the director said the girls that are gonna be in this movie shouldn't have done any breast surgrerey, and that they must have natural breats xD
I honestly think three movies were enough. The fourth one just might end up killing it. It doesn't even sound as interesting, but I don't know. If it is real, then maybe I'll end up watching it. But I am hoping it's a joke.
The only way I can feel positive about this is the possibility of a fresh new start, that doesn't feel like it's dragging the franchise on but instead giving it new life. A new trilogy would be something epic, exploring the possibilities of the world of PotC. But if this is a one-off movie, I can't see it living up to the first three or feeling truly inspired.
FYI guys, this was announced months ago. Reptar was just too much of a noob to notice >_> I think I'll wait and see how it turns out, before judging. Release Date is on my birthday, so lol.
I don't think it is a joke, since both Johnny Depp and Geofrey Rush has been confirmed for the movie for a while.
This is quite old news. But anyways, Yes, the plot doesn't seem too attention-grasping, however, the only reason I actually want to watch this is because Johnny Depp is one of my favourite actors, and Captain Jack Sparrow is my favourite pirate. :)

The only thing I hope for out of the fourth movie, is for someone to make a new 'remix' of whatever line Mr. Savvy decides to say, so I can have a new reason to have fun with Disney.
The Fountain of Youth adventure seems like a logical sequel, with Blackbeard as a logical nemesis. All in all it sounds good. Too bad Mackenzie Crook isn't gonna play Ragetti anymore...That'd be the one character that made me crack up, even more so than Jack Sparrow I think.
I love POTC but I'm not too excited about the 4th film. Will and Elizabeth are my favorite characters and them not in it will put me off a bit. I will still go see it but I'm not expecting to enjoy it too much. I hope I'm proven wrong.
I honestly think it was a good idea, But if Orlando and Keira were interested, They would be in the movie. They said that the story for Will and Elizabeth is over, I am perfectly fine with that. If they get too dragged on they would not be likable characters. Now for Jack Sparrow, So much stories can be made for him, Seeing that one day they almost caught him.
I think that it'll be quite interesting as long as the writers don't lose the plot and drag it on for too long. However, I was never too certain about whether Russell Brand... If he really was going to play as Jack Sparrow's brother or not... Could be a rumor I had heard about a few months ago, but do you guys suppose that there's still a sporting chance that this could happen?
Could be possible, Keith Richards is reprising his role as Captain Teague (AKA His dad) A new Pirate named 'Scram' played by Stephen Graham, Which could be this brother you speak of. Also... FUCK YES WE ARE FINALLY GETTING MERMAIDS.
