How do the little green bars and posts work near my avatar work?

1a. What is rep?
Rep (short for reputation!) is the thing in this forum that a member can take away or give another member depending on how the member being repped posted.

1b. How do I give rep?
To give rep there is a little button under the location on a user's post saying "Karma".

If you click it it will bring up two options:
"I approve"
OR
"I disapprove"

If a member posts well, click the I approve button and leave a comment if you wish. Previously we have had the rule that if you feel you were derepped unfairly you may take it to an administrator, however with the recent flood of requests to remove rep we have decided that we will no longer remove unfair reputation. If you are, however, repeatedly being abused by the same member through the reputation system, please report this to us.
1c. How does rep work?
Members start at zero rep. The more they are repped the more points they will receive. The more points that you have, the more you will give and take from every member you rep.
1d. How do I get more rep gems/blocks?
Once a member has 100 rep they will receive a second little block or gem in their rep. The gems are displayed under your user name. A member will receive a third gem when they get 200, a fourth with 300, and so on.
1e. How do I view my rep?
Go to your User CP to view the last 10 rep messages you received. You'll also be able to tell if it's bad or good rep as there will be a little block that is either green for good, and red for bad.You can also view who has given you/taken rep away from you, and the comment they left (if any).
1f. Why is some of the rep gray?
Gray rep symbolizes the absence of rep. If you receive gray rep, that means that someone who has no reputation has given you reputation. It will have no effect on your reputation level. If your rep gem is gray, you have no rep.
1g. What are the levels and titles for reputation?
Here is the status in rep that changes as time goes on.

-100= User fails at social skills.
-50 = User is blissfully ignorant.
-10 = User needs to think of others.
0 = User's future has not been written yet.
10 = User is starting to make an impact.
50 = User is rising the ranks.
150 = User has that unique charm.
250 = User knows what they're talking about.
350 = User is fun to have at parties.
450 = User is socially entertaining.
550 = User is a KH-Vids fanatic.
650 = User is super special awesome.
1000 = User is destined for ballads.
1500 = User is an undeniable friend to many.
2000 = User is a forum legend.
5000 = User is an omni ultra epic individual.
6000 = User is flying top gun.
1h. How much rep do I give/take?
The amount of points you add or take from a member depends upon how many points you have and your rank. For example, If Johnny has 600 rep, and Thomas has 200 rep, Johnny will give/take more than Thomas. Another example with rank would be as follows: Darla is an administrator, and Xavier is a normal member. Darla will give/take more rep than Xavier because she is at a higher rank.

The green bars are just to show how much rep you have. The more repuation points you have then the more green blocks you have. In some cases the green blocks will be red, which means the user has negative rep.

The posts is basically just the total posts you have made that count. Posts that you make will contribute and add to that number, however not all sections count, for example posts made in the spam zone won't be added to your total, but posts made in the Music Section would be.

They don't really do a lot, it just shows other members whether you're an active member or not. Hope that helped <3
