    I used to have more items on my Desktop than all of other things combined. Instead of doing what you guys did, I added the Desktop folder to my Taskbar and hid icons on my actual Desktop. It worked wonders. Here is my Desktop from back then.

    I don't think I've seen a messier desktop than my dad's. He practically has the entire thing filled up, and I'm not sure how he knows what's where

    I can't get anything done if it's cluttered. I've had desktop icons in the past but found I rarely used them--my five main programs stay pinned to the taskbar, so I just start them from there, and the rest I use the Start Menu for.
