    Well...I can't really tell you where to look because all keyboards are different, but if you find the "fn" and "prt sc"/"print screen" keys, press them at the same time. It'll take a screenshot, and then you can just open an image editing program (like MS Paint) and paste and save it.

    Anyway. Here's mine, icons are hidden.

    1) Press Prnt Scrn; it should be near the upper right of the keyboard.
    2) Open up Paint
    3) Paste the picture (Ctrl + V)
    4) Save.

    I have a Vista laptop as well.
