Most of the time, posts are deleted because they are spam. DPwolf does that most times in general; so If you have any complaints, I'm sure she'll give you a reason.

I know they are also deleted when someone answers a question that was previously answered already in a thread. So like if someone asked a question about KH, well here is an example:

"What is the thing Sora fights with is called?"

    "That's the Keyblade."

    "A keyblade."

Thus since the first person already answered the question, the second post would be deleted and then the thread locked.

Yeah, well I have quite a problem with this. DPwolf went and deleted all the posts I had made before August 21, 2009.

You and me both. We're victims of a cruel dictatorship. Except, I know how many I've had deleted. 100. Exactly.

well I posted this because I had 345 odd posts now I have 277 and I would like to know why, mainly because I usually end up reposting on a thread I already got a post removed from and leave the same post because I can't find my post and don't know it was removed in the first place....it's very confusing and frustrating...

It's best if DPwolf answers this thread, but one thing is for certain, if a post is considered Spam according to the rules, it will be deleted. If you think your post was unfairly deleted, then you can complain.

But if you know you've been spammin' up the boards, then...

It's more of the fact that Wolfie is trying to get some of the spam out to fit in the new for other members to post, without the DBE, or lagging.
    At least I think so.
I know it's hard to take that you're not Prem anymore, I'm not either; but hey, that gives me something to work for in the next few weeks. WITHOUT Spamming is the challenge.

You asked why your posts where deleted, and we answered that they are most likely spam. The only solution is to wait for DPwolf. Besides which, this should go in forum assistance, and is also in risk of locking.

This is already stated, so if you understood why your posts were gone, the next step would have been PM'ing staff.

I PM'd DPwolf about it, because I have a problem with 100 of my posts from YEARS ago being deleted. It's like she was TRYING to drop my post count.

lol It feels like that for me. But I know she is doing it just for the best of the site. So I would prefer just accept it and go with the flow. Honestly I think it is good, It will make members more aware of what they post.

I do like this idea. There are several instances where I go to see if somebody has replied to a post of mine only find that it's not there, which makes me wonder if it was deleted or if I just never posted it. Being alerted to deleted posts would be a very good remedy for that.

In all honesty, that would bother me as well. But that does mean that those from years ago are considered spam. Maybe what is in the past should be left in the past, but she is just trying to do her job. It may seem unfair, it does to me too every time mine goes down, but I guess it is something that has to be dealt with.

It does bother me though that my post count stays at 1,126 it's like every time I post, one is deleted.

Personally, I think that all the people who have been Prem for at least a year now should stay Prem. I mean, what's the point of it if you constantly have to worry about being knocked down a rank?

I don't think being Premium is all that important, but others seem to, and so it's not really all that fair.

Post will be deleted because they are spam. If you notice which ones that are deleted then you should either ask a very simple question to the moderator of that section "What do I need to post for it to be creditable?". If you continue to spam posts without knowing it and then replace them with similar posts then they will get deleted and you will be told to add more to your posts. Wolfie is cleaning up a lot of posts and I know that's she's had to tell a lot of you that your spamming frequently and I myself have deleted a lot of spam posts in the gaming section recently so it's not that anyone is being victimised. The problem isn't that your posts are being deleted, it's that you aren't posting correctly. There is nothing more we can tell you about why your posts are being deleted other than that your basically doing it wrong. If you have any questions about what you should be putting into your posts PM/VM me and I'll try my best to explain it to you in greater detail with examples if needs be.

It's not a problem about keeping prem or not. It's about cleaning up. If you're a prem that's caught in that process, then it's only natural that your post are coming down. Besides it's not a penalty, it's a consequence.

DPwolf isn't out to get anyone.

And post count can be exchanged for real money or funfair credits at the local post count bank?
    Right. I thought not.

Also, I've seen some of your posts she deleted, and all of them were justified. I admit that I might be more flexible, but then again you might also classify that as "oblivious". XD Wolfie's doing things by the book, and she won't delete a post without reason. I think I'm right when I say that she isn't doing this just for fun.
