Help post count keeps dropping.

sorry if this is in the wrong spot but i need some help. my post count keeps droping on me. right now i just lost 7 posts. i had 390 now i only have 383. can someonee tell me whats going on please?

 

My guess is that the staff are going through threads and removing posts that are spam filled. It's nothing to worry about, there was an announcement by CTR in the forum news section that this would be happening.

 

Okies, i think there is a rule you need at least 6 words in the post.

 

The staff said if you, for instance, make posts in the Graphics section without really saying anything - for instance, saying "wow, this is cool", and nothing else of substance, the post will be deleted. Similar tactics apply elsewhere, so maybe that's the problem. Also, if the staff feels that a debate has gotten out of hand, they will delete the inflammatory posts.

 

no its not that i think they deleted all of my disney galaxy posts. they were all decent replies i dont see why they'd delete those!

 

Most likely spam. Just keep trying to make the most of your usual posts and you should be fine. Try not to spam. Make sure they're full length and are relevant to the topic.

i alwayz reply my comments pertaining to the subject of athread.

 

Whenever we, the staff that is, move a thread to an area where posts do not count or we delete posts, your post count goes down. You may want to check what areas you are posting in and read the rules if your posts are being deleted or moved on you. Some areas, where posts count mostly, require you to post at least 6 words per post and to stay on topic with the theme of that area or thread. Hope that explains things in a nutshell.
