I like. Shows Nintendo is going back to the GC days where they tried for the gamer (or wait, they never stopped, people are just stupid and don't research their Wii's). +1.
Impressive Nintendo. Impressive indeed. Yellow and that blue are a nice combination. It gives it a nice little pop, so the "WII U" label catches your eye.
The Gamecube-esque shape is nice, but the colours are not that great. The yellow bar doesn't mix well with the blue in me eyes. Still, people here seem to like it so it's fine.
I just kind of wish they would go with more neutral colors, I can see this clashing with game covers in the near future. I have seen some nice covers kind of ruined by the green casing for 360 games. But its not like it affects the quality of the game itself so whatever.
Well, it's supposed to give the label a certain pop. But this can be an issue too. It's not a huge deal because it's just asthetics, but I can see it being annoying with certain covers.
I kinda agree with Reptar, the colors are nice on their own, but I can see them clashing with a lot of cover art color schemes. If it was, say, one bright color and one neutral color, I think it'd be nice. The shape I'm ok with.
Eh. I'm not liking that yellow line. I know it's a small detail, but it's kinda tacky in my opinion. and wtf how are you supposed to dance with a huge tablet controller
^This. The blue by itself is nice but its not the easiest colour to match. Something similar in style to the PS3's would've been better; something plain and simple and that doesn't clash or distract you from the box image.
