Kingdom Hearts II Possible theory on Axel's "crying"

Okay, in the final mix cutscene where roxas is about to leave axel as they r sitting on the twilight town tower, the camera zooms in, and we see a tear fall and hit the surface of the balcony on the clock tower...
I for one believe it was axels...

that whole roxas cutscene was right after sora beat roxas, right? Axel dies before the Roxas Vs. Sora fight. Because we litterally saw axel "fading back into darkness" as DiZ said they all were supposed to do, could it have been possible that axel found his somebody and returned to him?
It could have been the whole Namine/Kairi, Sora/Roxas connection. Namine and Roxas could see eachother for however long they wanted...as long as sora and kairi were near each other. Well, because roxas was essentially fading into darkness, it could be quite possible that roxas and axel saw each other because sora was near axel somehow...perhaps axel was in twilight town? I mean, TWTNW and Twilight Town are connected, so they might have been able to see eachother because they were in the same world...

all I am saying is that, since axel might have been whole by that time, he was able to cry...Nomura confirmed something saying that Axel could be still alive...

Well it has been confirmed by Nomura that Axel returned to his somebody.

As for his crying, I say that it is Sora's heart touching him, allowing him to feel emotion.

 

At this point Axel is no longer a nobody... and has emotions. Its canon... you are correct sir!

 

Care to share the source of the canon? (And no, saying captain Hook's ship is not going to work.)

But really, I would like to know where the canon of that is.

Also, how do you explain Axel's emotions prior to the clock-tower scene?

Axel returned to his somebody??! Crap I never knew that...meh, I should read the news more on khv. And for some reason I always thought that tear was Roxas'. But yeah, when you explain it like that it makes sense, so yeah, I agree.

 

That tear really was Axel's. I have the video on my computer, if you look very closely, right as he says goodbye to Roxas, the tear rolls down his face.

But yeah, I had always believed that the nobodies, although they may not have had hearts we still able to feel emotions and stuff like that. I'm not sure if Axel had gotten his heart back by that point, but I do hope so (I'm a big Axel fan. ^^; ). I think that the reason why Axel was able to feel more than the other nobodies was because of his connection with Roxas who held part of Sora's heart (correct me if I'm wrong, but I always thought Roxas had part of a heart or that he still had a connection with his heart). Axel and Roxas created a bond together and I guess through Roxas' influence, Axel remembered what it was like when he had a heart, hence the whole "He made me feel like I had a heart" thing.

I believe that Axel does have emotions, considering this tear and what he told Sora before he died. I hope he is somehow in the next one. I loved Axel.

 

Yeah, Axel really dropped a tear there.

And I think it was because he finally was linked to his 'somebody' because it's there he dies and so he was moving back on to join his somebody at that point. Roxas and Sora were said by Axel to make him feel as though he had a Heart and I think it triggered in him a connection after he gave himself up. Namine eludes to this in the novel; that after he 'died' he went back to his somebody. So it all makes sense in that light.

 

I always thought that that droplet was from the ice cream.

Where the heck have I been to have missed something that important? Wow, I wonder what his somebody looked like, or even when he'll turn up and in what world?

 

I thought that it was both that Axel had returned to his somebody, so he could feel emotion, and was happy that Roxas had returned to Sora.

Yeah, I also noticed it was a tear. But can't figure it out why.

 

I don't know if we'll be seeing Axel as his somebody or not but it was confirmed by Nomura and also in the KH2 Novel. Namine states that Axel returned to his Somebody so he was not truly gone. There's nothing saying though that he will return or that he would even remember his time as a Nobody. It would be interesting if he did though.

 

When was the whole Roxas/Axel thing happening? I think it happened as axel was fading away with sora. Like at the same time, their minds connected when Sora was talking to axel as he was fading away. Does that sound right?

 

And again something interesting and cool I learned today! That could be possible though. Yeah! Axel's a Somebody! ^^

Anyone have a link to the interview where Nomura said that Axel returned to his somebody? I'm curious of the reasoning behind that...I hope it isn't crappy :/ I hate when they bring characters back to life for no reason *coughtrinitybloodcough*

So that cutscene happened right after the fight w/ Roxas and Sora? I always thought it was a flashback to before Axel died
