Portal 1 was already a groundbreaking puzzle game. It was so short and deserved a sequel.

Portal 2 is so amazing. The puzzles are more varied cause of new elements added to the game and there's a good story plot. Not to mention that the humor in it is HILARIOUS!

"Alright, I've been thinking: When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons! What am I supposed to do with these?! Demand to see life's manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am?! I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! WITH THE LEMONS! I'm gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!" - Cave Johnson

    So.....Who got it?

I never got the chance to play the original so im probably gonna shell out some b-day cash for it. It looks like it'll be great and i just hope there can be an online co-op mode...

I've yet to pick it up, but from what I've seen and read, it's an amazing game. Two questions, however: I hear that when you buy the PS3 version, you get a voucher to download Portal 2 from Steam for free. Is this true?

And: Can the PS3 and PC versions play with each-other. For instance, I'm playing the game on PS3, and my brother is playing it on the PC. Can we play Co-op together?

I believe i read in Gameinformer that both of those statements are true. Im not totally sure about the free download voucher but PC to PS3 online play is true for sure!

I watched someone go through then entire story mode. Most epic ending ever. Don't know what they'll do if they make a 3rd one though.

I bought it the day it was released. Beat single player last night and Co-op today. Can't wait for people to start making mods. I'm really only disappointed that they removed the Pneumatic Diversity Vents. They would have made for some very interesting tests. There were also quite a few levels that I saw in trailers which I was hoping to see in game. Here's hoping those removed features will be added again as DLC.

I fell in love with this game in the first scene. It was released on steam 3 days early so those who preordered got to play it early. I then managed to play through the campaign and the co op mode, both endings are just amazing. The music was immense and just very well put together. I found this game very challenging and got stuck a few times but the puzzles never felt unbelievably annoying hard which was good. I really haven't laughed at a game so much in a while, I recommend it to anyone who likes games but play the first one first because then you'll get to know the story and characters better.

I recommend if you haven't finished the game don't open these spoilers because it will spoil it (obviously) and that would have ruined it for me if I knew.

One thing I do love it at the very end when you get the companion cube, it's the one from the original portal not the P2 ones. It didn't get incinerated ^^ Also, I do love how for half the game you carry around the main antagonist in potato form xD

The only thing I don't get is why GLaDOS thinks you're still so attached to it. I mean, it should become quite obvious that you don't love it as much as she expected in the first game when she actually gets to know you while she's POtaDOS.

Hmm, I'm thinking about buying Portal 2, but the thing is, I've not bought Portal itself. >_> Hopefully I'll pick up enough zeal to go and buy it.

I believe you can link the PSN account with your steam account, then you get the code from the "PC" version you get from the PS3 version

Well that's true, I suppose it was something she just assumed as other test subjects get attached to it through loneliness. I think the first portal does a good job of having a creepy feel to it, as if something isn't right and the Companion cube plays a part in that as it's what is hinted at (behind the panels) keeping the past specimens sane, or more likely shows how they were driven insane with loneliness. I got quite attached to it because it had a love heart on and in an environment with no love it does feel good.

I just played through the single player now, took me 3,5 hours and it was in one sitting. It's SUUUUUCH a good game, and I don't even give a crap I spent this night playing it! Can't wait to do the Co-op with my buddy.
I love Wheatley, he adds so much to the game - His humor is just incredible! GLaDOS is of course also great, very much like the first game.
I'd like to hear Chell's voice, but Valve didn't give Freeman a voice, so why would they do it with her

The music is so good as well!
Also, what'd you guys think of the ending song? I liked it a lot! I'm not sure if it's better than still alive, but still right next to it on my list.

I just got it and it's great. The puzzles are like in the Layton series, they can make you think and experiment for a while and when you finally figure it out you facepalm yourself. The writers did a great job and the humor is dark, but entertaining all the same. I still haven't finished it though, seeing as how I just got it but I can tell i'm gonna enjoy co-op once PSN is back up.

That's true. You can always get Steam on your computer until then though.

I loved the ending song, I was highly amused by the lyrics and I can't find it on iTunes yet so I'll just wait for a bit.

Also, I need more people to play co op with, so feel free to add me, my Steam ID is PinkSmartie

I really hope they don't do a third Portal as it would ruin it but I do hope they still do DLC's for the co op.
