Eeeeee, awesome **** is awesome, and since Lithy's old thread about them is closed, I decided they needed a new one. I did search and if someone already have made a thread about them (which I really doubt), I'm sorray. So anyway, they're pwnsome. Industrial/ trashyyyyyy rock :D They just released a new song: The neighbor They havn't published a CD yet, but they're working on it as we speak. But the 12 songs that are currently released are: * Fucks like a star *The preyingmantis *You want *King of the world *Redlight district *I'm your favorite drug *My leftovers *I feel perfect *Transparent *Sugarcube *Gasoline *The neighbor I recommend them all actually, I've been a fan for ages and I can honestly say I like all of their songs. The only official band member is the singer/songwriter Alania Beaton, but the band is hella awesome too. I find their lyrics awesome. They're so damn 'dangerous' and the way she preform each and every song works so well with her voice. So K a i r i says that ya all should check them out! ;D (Oh and yeah, their myspace and they're also showcased on trig, you'll find the links for it on their myspace but it's currently under maintainance.) I never heard of them until one of my friends shown me their song 'Redlight District' and that's the only song I really listen to from them.
Yay, it's great that you all really like them :3 But I would appriciate it if I actually got some comments here, or opinions or whatever, just something other than ' I like them, etcetcetc' it gets a bit repetetive after a while xD As far as opinions goes, I don't mind it if you comment positively or negatively really, I just find it fascinating looking at other peeps opinions.
ASDFGHJKL; Thanks to Tootz I now have their songs. It's just so unbelievably fuuucking refreshing to listen their songs; I can't get enough of it. Too many men are taking over the music industry, IMO. Any girls/women that come along end up singing horrible pop songs; where they don't even really sing that much, and get famous from their big bucks record companies and all their one-sided adoring tween fans that do not know the meaning of good music or diversity. Love, love, love, love, love them. I just might fangasm when the CD and/or music video comes out.
This thread deserves a bump for PATT awesomeness My favorite songs are My Leftovers and Fucks Like A Star. I've heard some other songs by them like preyingmantis and they're good too. I love listening to this music over and over. Alaina Beaton is amazing
I've been a big fan since Alaina first started PATT, but lately I've been distancing myself from the music and not listening to it as much. I don't wanna get bored of it, yet I feel that I am :-/ She's been on about an album for 3 years now.. Kinda ridiculous. I don't believe the "legal ****" she's experiencing would be taking this long. She needs to get her head out her ass, throw out an album and single then start a bloody tour cos I love her ;) Oh, and the best song IMO is a tie between You Want and Sugarcube. Not really liking The Neighbor as much as her other stuff. I know she's influenced by NIN, but that song sounds too much like them.. The contorted music at the start of the song for example.
