Poll on the Topic of Divorce

◀◀ ◀◀ my parents separated once, for a year because of family matters, but they were never officially divorced. and i knew way more than five people whose parents were divorced and it always made me feel kind of lucky that mine were still together.​

 

Well my father has been married a few time, and he lost them as such: Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced beheaded, survived.

But no, i'm no descendant of Henry VIII as far as i'm aware.

They're married, my mum threatens to kill him every week or so.
I know many divorced parents. Easily more than five.

 

Wouldn't they fit the third option, then? No, but my parents should be divorced.

 

Well, I won't go into detail since I don't want to talk about their personal lives and why their marriage isn't that good and exceptional in any way, I also don't think it's necessary to divorce as they do get along and they were capable of raising me and my brother well enough. Still, it's not something I can wish for them, nor can any child. There was a time where I used to think that it'd be better if they were divorced but growing up I realized that if they wanted to, they would have done it a long time ago. As long as both are reasonable enough then they'll either end up doing it or won't for good reasons. At least, for most cases.
