Nintendo Pokemon X and Y

Yea, I can't remember the exact story but some guy edited this politician's Wikipedia page and said that he was a human devouring alien or something...

 

I haven't had a chance to play Black 2/White 2 myself, nor have I gotten to try any of the spin-offs like the Mystery Dungeon series or Conquest.

Here's a thought I haven't heard anyone in the thread talk about: a new console entry for the Pokemon games, akin to Stadium and Colosseum and such. We haven't gotten one yet for Generation V, and it would look great with the Wii U's HD graphics...but that would mean it's on the Wii U and barely anyone has that. Still, it could maybe become a selling point (the console sorely needs those right now)

 

Why yes I agree it could be a console entry, I highly doubt it will be a game like Colosseum or Stadium. With the Wii U, I could actually see them doing something like a sequel to Pokemon Snap.

 

Whatever it is, I'd really love to see a Ranger game ;-; Now those were awesome.

 

Why not though? Literally every other generation has gotten a battle-themed game, except Generation V.

Or better yet, they could make a free-roaming, exploration-based 3D game with customizable trainers and both a deep single-player storyline and online competitions. Snap features could be implemented into the single-player, or even multiplayer, to take pictures during battles between people.

 

Remake or an extension of the First, Second, or third GEN maybe. I cant get into the other pokemon games after Gen III.

 

I heard that gamefrek had plans to make a pokémon game for the wii u with fully animated attacks and the sprites moving around more with the move they are using and such.

 

Really? Now that'd be epic!

 

Key word there is "heard". It is impossible for me to say I believe you without solid evidence on that one.

 

I never said it was cannon..., just that I had heard speak of it.

 

It would be nice yes, but I just don't see it this generation. Colosseum and XD Gales of Darkness were both in generation III in the middle not near the end. Pokemond Stadium and Stadium 2 were the last games of their generations yes, but they didn't have to expand onto a new console. We already have a Gen V Wii game that is ignored, PokePark 2 is of gen V and a console title. Now with the release of the WiiU, I predict it would take more time for a Pokemon game to show up. They usually come after the big titles like Zelda, Mario, and Metroid. Generation VI will see a WiiU game. Also (cant remember his name), some guy showed up on the show they use to announce special things for the franchise. He only comes around when there is a big announcement as in main series game whether it is a remake or new generation.

 

Honestly I see no problem with there being a new Pokémon Snap game. Or they could make a new spinoff series?

If pokémon will come out after Mario, Zelda and Metroid then we better be ready for a wait because the next Zelda one will be a big one(or so Nintendo says), and there is no news of a Metroid game. Honestly a new Pokémon game might give the console a kick start, because the previous two consoles made by Nintendo(3DS and wiiU) have actually not sold that well.

 

I am saying for a console game involving Pokemon. The 3DS Is snot selling bad at all actually. It had a poor beginning, but now they have sold a lot because of the increase in game development. Even with the price cut, they have made profit as of a few months ago. It will sell even better once a Pokemon game is released on it being the main drive for some who do have handhelds. The WiiU isn't selling horrible either. It is having a very steady growth in sales.

Was just confirmed. Gen VI Pokemon will be called X and Y version to be released on the 3DS in October, World Wide.
