Battle Wobbuffet vs Wobuffet with Shadow Tag and you try to escape or win.

This is why we need mega evolution.

If you have Wobbuffet vs. Wobbuffet, Shadow Tag does nothing.

They changed Pikachu's cry to be more anime-esque? I always thought that the Pokémon of the games didn't say their names to speak. Whenever we've interacted with a Pokémon in the games before, Yellow excepted, they've always said something that sounds barely anything like their names. Like Farfetch'd and the legendary "Fweh!" it said in... Gold and Silver, I think?
Yeah, not a fan of that change, but whatever, I didn't really like Pikachu anyway, so it's no real loss for me.

All the cries have pretty much changed. Charmander sounds way different too. Think they might be trying to make it more realistic.

Amaura and Tyrunt evolutions revealed: Aurorus and Tyrantrum

Also, none of the Kalos region Pokemon will have a Mega Evolution.

But aren't Amaura and Tyrunt from the Kalos region? Or they are fossil's from elsewhere that were brought there to be studied?

I guess the "mega evolution" will be the plot of the game, since the stones for mega evolution are from Kalos, the pokemon that live in there are "adapted to this country radiation" so they would not MEGA EVOLVE in there, and if they did no one would notice because they live in the source of this power and probably don't need to use a rock to mega evolve.. unlike foregers pokemon that never received such "radiation" and thus change their phenotype by receiving for the first time.

It probably works like Deoxys that changed forms in Kanto/Houen

So, Some of the OST has leaked and with the leak has come Battle music for the games. About 5 songs in total that I could find. I'll post them here and spoiler each one to avoid loading issues and clutter.

Now for the gym battle one, I am uncertain if its for all the gyms or just a specific one.

I prefer black/white 2 music become it always get me fire up, but x/y music feel like a kid made it. I like the mega evolution music though.

You know, those could actually grow on me pretty quickly. I'm not too sure about the Rival Battle music, since they seemed to have made it even more up-beat than R/S/E, and I didn't even think that was possible, and the wild battle wasn't that great either, but the trainer battle was actually pretty good, I didn't see that coming at all; the mega evolution just makes it sound like s*** got real, and the gym leader battle isn't as fast-paced or hyper like the others, but it's got a nice rhythm to it nonetheless

I quite like the music except for the mega or gym leader battle. And the upbeat is something I rather enjoyed about RSE. Albeit I think it had the best music of all the games. This isn't as great as BW but it beats DPPt

I've got my favorites and dislikes through all of the generations, I don't really have a "favorite generation OST". And it's funny, the trainer battle sounds more like something you'd have against the group your against. Actually, it made me mostly think of something like Team Galactic. Oh well, whatever.

And up-beat is fine, but there is a limit for me. And that limit is basically what sounds like skipping through a field of sunflowers with a plastered "I love this summer day" face on. And that's exactly what that music makes me think of...which makes me want to gank myself

Honedge is revealed to be able to evolve, into Doublade. Doublade is apparently able to attack twice per turn like MegaKangaskhan, but otherwise retains a pretty similar appearance to it's pre-evolution. It reminds me a bit of the way Koffing evolves into Weezing, honestly.

Feels a bit forced. Like, it seems to be a Magnemite type evolution (which is poor) and not fully formed one. The blade could've extended, or at least the swords could've altered in some way.
I actually thought Honedge was going to be a non-evolving Pokemon, but there you go.

That's what I said when it was first shown. I said that if it were to evolve, it should have a big change, or not evolve at all. Actually, I was more for the non-evolution. I know I'm not going to get this pokemon on my team when I play. I actually think that magnemite and magneton were more creative than this. this time they just added another of the exact same sword, instead of making any real change.

I would blame it on trying to keep it 'kid friendly' just adding an extra sword in the evolution, but I somehow doubt that at all, and instead it was designed like this on purpose with intention. Still, I suppose two attacks is tactically helpful but only if it's not terrible stats wise.
