Again how do you know before playing the game?

But images from a game that isn't out yet, can't tell us if something is good or not. for all we know Yveltal could be better

 

Remember when everyone said Palkia was a lamer and Dialga ended up being worse than it stat-wise?

 

I didn't know that, but that proves we shouldn't judge on what we've seen

 

I enjoy seeing arguments between legendary pokemon. Always wants me to grab a snack and kick back while I enjoy red side vs. blue side XD.

Like I said before though, I'd rather go for X, just because I'd rather have a legendary that isn't Dark type. That's actually why I bought White, I really just wanted Zekrom over Reshiram

 

Or for all we know it could be worse. But you can formulate an opinion off of a visual. Based on design alone I prefer Xerneas, and I don't even care about stats. I like Xerneas better so I will buy X, because that's my opinion. I don't see how this was even an argument in the first place.

 

I'm not the one who said it was, I was asking a question, I don't think people should make an opinion if something in a game is good or not before it comes out, and it's clear you disagree, so I think we should agree to disagree.

He was talking purely aesthetically. In terms of looks, we already know what they both look like, so there's nothing left to be revealed about how it looks. And in terms of looks, he prefers Xerneas. Since he prefers looks to stats (as do I), he's getting X so he can catch Xerneas. You're welcome to do what you like too though.

 

I'm getting Y for the reason that I'd prefer a bird to a deer, nothing more. Unfortunately I won'y have the luxury of getting this on my birthday like I did with Black/White 2.

 

Despite X having Swirlix, I still want Y.

My desire for Yveltal very heavily outweighs my desire to catch a Swirlix.

 

Somehow I get the feeling most people are going to be buying these games based off the legendaries. Isn't that kinda how it came down with Black/White?

Also, am I the only one that still thinks Xerneas looks like a Sawsbuck except a lot more antlers and cooler looks?

You know what I'm waiting for? A new eeveeolution, it just seems odd to me that there is only one, so I'm expecting another one.

 

Well, this is the first game where I want the first title instead of the second. Outside of the 3rd title in each gen, I always picked Silver, Sapphire, Diamond, White. But now I want X and not Y. The Legendary for it just looks way cooler to me.

 

...Nnnnot sure where you're getting that info? Because Dialga and Palkia's stats are perfectly inverse. Dialga has better defensive typing and Palkia has better offensive typing. Not to mention they're both welcome additions to nearly any team in Ubers, so yeh.

I'm not really concerned with stats anyway; if I want to play whatever tier they end up in, I'll find a way to access both of them. I pick for aesthetics, and though it's very close this time around, Yveltal's suspected typing pushes it over for me. Dark needs more legendaries.
