Nintendo Pokemon X and Y

Oh I wasn't talking about the pokedex entry, I was talking about them having a sword in the show. I feel like they're going to air an episode with someone using it as a weapon now, even though it's likely not to happen. They probably learned they lesson with the banned ash-at-gunpoint episode

 

I've actually seen people complain about Honedge being too complicated. Yeah. A sword with a sheath that has some swirls on it, is apparently "too much."

I personally love it and will call mine Griever.

 

Maybe if we're comparing it to 1st gen, but everything's complicated compared to 1st gen. Those designs were exceedingly simple. Ffs, there are two Pokéball Pokémon.

 

The only thing complicated about the design is the hilt, and that's just because it has a lot more curves on it than the straight lines that make up the sword itself. Compare it to the rest of the pokemon, and this is literally just a bunch of simple shapes put together, compared to most other pokemon which aren't just a bunch of circles and triangles.

Seriously, what about this design is complicated? If they consider this complicated, I'd love to see what they say about Magnimite, Voltorb, and even ditto of all things

 

The sheath is pretty ornate, but even then, not as detailed as some 4th- and 5th-gen sprites. I don't get it either. :L?

 

Maybe they think it's complicated because they haven't done anything inorganic before? I honestly don't know, it's hard trying to think of how someone finds this hard. I mean, I'm not a great artist, but it doesn't take much to see just how much difference there is drawing this compared to something like Blaziken, Dialga, or even Aipom.

 

I think it is a natural progression from Magneton/magnemite/voltorb/electrode etc.. there was even a lamp pokemon, I Just thought that swords were too "violent for pokemon" (it is strange if you think it is a fighting game, but it is meant for kids).

Hi guys corocoro has leaked some new info on the game first off the that Pancham evolovs into this

It's name is Goronda and is fighting/dark.

Next are two new Pokemon Maika who evolovs into Karamanero both being Dark/Psychic and seems to be squids


This next images shows the Pokemon Shushup who is a new Fairy Type and it looks like we get to see the main evil team called Flair/Flare their sole purpose is to make money, and the new professor Puraraanu (Platane) and it would seem we can battle him, making him the first one we can fight without hacks

Last new Pokemon to be shown is Peroppafu another new Fairy Pokemon and is the Cotton Candy Pokemon. there are also two new Gym leaders Shitron (the one with robot arms) who looks like he has electric types and Zaruko who looking at this hair could use Ground/Rock types.



Other news, Xerneas has been confirmed to be the Life Pokemon with the Fairy type and Ability Fairy Aura while Yveltal is the Destruction Pokemon with the Dark/Flying type and the Ability Dark Aura. And Honedge has the ability of No Guard.


The PSS has various new features. First is the HoloCaster, which gives the latest news on the Pokémon Global Link, without needing access. It has a Happy Sign which lets you see feelings/actions of friends. There are special O Powers which work akin to Pass Powers which you can use and receive from other players. Miracle Trade allows for an "exciting trade" with someone from around the world. It also features connectivity with the Global Trade Station

Pokemon X exclusive;Clauncher and Peroppafu - Pokemon Y exclusive; Skrelp and Shushup.

YO I WANT A GORONDA REAL BAD.

I'm so glad Game Freak keeps coming out with all these new/extra dual types. It's my favorite thing to see.

Also Team Flare might be my patron team omg (I go by Flare Sword on a lot of other websites)

 

I think I might get the enjoy the giant panda, but I feel like it's a distant cousin to Ursaring; and it reminds me of the others in Black/White that made me think that. It's not a bad thing, but it almost feels like they're just messing with already mode pokemon and changing them a little. Ok, I'm going to stop now before it osunds like full on complaining.

I'm thinking I'm going to grab X, because I don't really want a Dark/Flying legendary, or even a Dark/Flying. I mean, I would grab a Honchkrow if I wanted a dark/flying. I think it'd be cool to have a legendary pokemon with the new type. And am I the only one that feels that the squid is water type every time I look at it? I know that's a "duh" moment, but come on, just looking at it it makes it hard to remember it's a dark/psychic types (which I find really cool, although I'm keeping it away from any bug pokemon)

 

Aw c'mon, there are enough fishes, birds, and cats to make full teams out of them. Why not bears?

Be careful about that. You might get the opposite of what you're expecting, like in B/W.

 

Maybe, but I knew which was which at that point, but I'm not expecting them to put the pokemon that looks like a Y in X and vice versa.

 

guys, the cotton candy pokemon. First ice cream now cotton candy. Pokemon is calling to my sweet tooth.

 

I'm waiting for the Twix pokemon XD. At that point I'll build a machine, go to the pokemon world, and go on a eating spree (yummy, chocolate insides)

 

1: Yin Yang was part of Black and White's themes, it should have been expected there.
2: Reshiram was on Black's cover, Zekrom was on White's. That should have been warning enough.
3: If you look at the X and Y box arts, Xerneas is on X and Yveltal is on Y.

I'm torn on which one to get. That doesn't usually happen. Normally there is a clear winner, either because of more appealing exclusives or a better-looking legendary. But I really like both legendaries this time, and though I like Yveltal slightly more, the prospect of having a legendary Fairy right off is enticing. I'll probably just wait and see what my friends are getting and nab the opposite one.
