well, i currently have a full team, and i'm past the first city, and am currently in the forest.

 

Got a full team consisting of Fletchinder, Pikachu, Absol, Combusken, Charmeleon, and Quilladin. We're headed to the second Gym, though I may replace Absol with Amaura for this Gym since the Ice type will do well with Grant's Tyrantrum.

Really liking the choice of Pokemon, while immensely disliking it because I obtained an Eevee and don't know who to replace on my team. May end up teaching Charizard Fly and replacing Fletchinder.

Currently I'm deciding if I'm a boy or a girl.

 

Currently in Illumis Lumiose trying to scrounge my way through all the French.
I have my suspicions about Lysandre. About to reach Route 5.
Team is currently in process with about three current mainstays.

 

Everyone is going to be having full teams by the second gym and realizing how many more pokemon they're going to want on their team. Heck, Even I don't know what I want. Maybe I'll probably go for a Swellow, but who knows. There's just too many to choose from

 

Fair point. This problem is one of the reasons why I am jostling around with which Pokemon I want on my team at the moment.
At this rate, minus a few, I might just be sticking to the Kalos Pokemon if not simply to try something new, unless certain Pokemon are absolutely necessary to be on my little old team.

Playing the game in French is certainly an experience. I learned a new idiom!

 

This thread makes me sad because I'm seeing all this rad stuff about X & Y but I don't have a 3DS.

I'll just go back to playing Soul Silver ;c

 

Just started. Currently in Santalune Forest. I only have Fennekin and Fletchling atm, but I can see myself being insanely conflicted because all of the new Pokes look so cool. Every time I see old gen Pokemon I'm like "Trash. Leave"

What battle BG is everyone using? The Eevee one is fukin adorbs. :3

 

I just beat Misty. My team consists of Pikachu and only Pikachu.

 

I know. The only thing with that is that there's only about 60 new pokemon with this new region, and quite a few of those are evolutions. I guess if you counted Mega Evolutions there'd be more, but you don't get those right off the bat.

 

Just beat the second gym (exclusively using Charmeleon's Dragon Rage on the leader, I might add) and currently fighting the fabulous Team Flare grunts on Route 10. I also think I predicted the leader of Team Flare correctly before the reveal (though it's not very hard to tell).

My team is Charmeleon, Combusken, Braixen, Pikachu, Eevee and Meditite as my Strength slave~

 

Yeah, it's basically like what they did with Generation IV...and I suppose you could say V; we managed to get a look at who the leaders were before they were really revealed and it wasn't hard to figure out who they were. Then again, it's not like Pokemon has ever known the word "subtle" before

Only got past the first gym, been a tad busy to play. =/
Also debating on using Torchic, I have Riolu and in the future I want to get Charmander, but Torchic would be the 2 types in one.
Too many pokemon nowadays to choose from. -_-'

 

I FINALLY GOT THE SHINY STONE FROM THAT STUPID SUPER MINI-GAME THING AND EVOLVED FLOETTE.​

 

Was the mini-game hard? Or are the super mini-games worse than you'd think?

 

Annoying. It just took forever to finally get the Shiny Stone. I've obtained so many Stardusts and Hard Balls trying to get the Shiny Stone, though, so...yay?​

 

Well, at least you can sell them. Though I find the minigames to be pretty enjoyable.

And then there's character customization. This is something I'll be wasting FAR too much time on~
