Well, that's not a good reason not to get one of the best Pokemon games out there. It's got other things like animations for the gym leaders, a Battle Frontier, among other great things.

I was wondering if someone would ask. It's kinda funny really. The highest level Wild Pokemon in Platinum is level 100 and it is a Magikarp. That's right, there are level 100 Magikarp in Platinum. Go to the Resort Area and fish with a Super Rod and you'll land Magikarp between levels 1 and 100. No lie, I speak the truth. If you don't believe me, look here where it says Resort Area and Super Rod. It'll be near the bottom of the page.

It looks pretty interesting to me. I pre-ordered it because all of a sudden I wanted Diamond, but I did a search online and came up with Platinum instead. I didn't understand a lot of the new features because they were from D/P (like now you're able to scroll through the Pokétch applications both ways instead of having to go through all of them. Wtf does that mean??), but some of the ones I did get like the Battle Frontier and the Gym Leader/Pearl animations looked pretty awesome, so I decided I could wait two months for it (that was back in January)

XD the game's gonna be worth getting just for the Level 100 Magikarp :D

And since you pre-ordered it, you'll get an awesome Giratina Origin Forme model.

Whow,i can't believe they did that to the most useless pokémon ever...
That's definately not worth the trouble of fishing, unless you wanna catch one at level 99,EV train completely it and level it up to turn into a level 100 Gyarados.

Cool! Even if you didn't order it off the Pokémon website or wherever it says you get one?

The only point would be to help you train. And that level 99 thing wouldn't really work that well, since it only knows Splash, Tackle, and Flail and as a Gyarados, it will have to be taught all it's moves through TM's and HM's, since it won't learn any attacks by getting to level 100.

Yup. If you Reserved or Pre-ordered, you'll get one no matter where you got it from.

Yeah, they should've made a level Gyarados so you could train better or something, nota Magicarp.
    Train with Magicarps?
    What?
I rather go around with VS Seeker.
Anyway,If that was my case,i'd just use that guy that makes the Pokémon remember old moves.

Well, if you're EV training, they give off one Speed EV. Just keep fishing for them and your Pokemon will quickly gain Speed EV's and levels. That's the only purpose I see for them.

I go for attack Ev's,and Hp Ev's.I want power, and health.I think those are the best Ev's to go for.But you'll need defense as well.

Well, Attack is useless if you can't get in a hit. I'm trying to make a balanced team based on Natures and IV's.

Natures.Do you ever give your pokemon berries? The Oran berry is the suckiest. But they are the most common.I use the sitrus berry.

I prefer using the different Potions. They work better than Berries.

Have you ever chained to try and get Shiny pokemon? I'm trying to do that right now.

    Yeah...without cheats I've gotten a few.Let's see.I marked the legal shiny ones I caught.It's a Pikachu,a red Gyarados,and I forgot the other 3.It was hell to get them.I swear to God.

I haven't gotten any yet. I suck at chaining. The most I've chained is 9 Roselia. I have caught a shiny Makuhita without chaining or cheats, though. I traded it for a shiny Skorupi.
