OKay..thanks..that's all I needed.I'm EV training this Charizard I got.What pokemon are you currentlly EV training?

 

None yet. I'm trying to figure out which ones I should. I'd like one from each type. The one's I'm thinking of so far are my Floatzel, Togetic (now a Togekiss), a Swinub I'm going to make a Mamoswine, and a Haunter I'm gonna make a Gengar. And I've already done my Giratina. For ones I've done in Pearl, I have Staraptor, Snorlax, Blaziken, Luxray, Torterra, Blastoise, and Lucario. I had a couple I was going to train, which I might send to Platinum. But with both Pearl and Platinum, I have 13 types from just the Pokemon I listed. I just need Psychic, Bug, Rock, and Dark.

 

Dude,I got 10 stat points from battling 5 Lickylicky's.Holy ****.I used the power weight.

 

That's nothin'. I got 15 Sp. Def. for my Gyarados for beating a series of Tentacruel. I did have a Power Weight, though (or whichever gives sp. def.).

 

I'm using the power items for my Pokemon, but I'm also cheating to speed it up. I'm using the Wild Pokemon Modifier so I fight the one's I need for a max EV gain and I have them at level 1 so I can take them down in 1 hit. I had my Giratina trained already, but now I've also trained my Darkrai, Uxie, and Cutie Pie (Togekiss). Now I'm working on Floatzel, but I'm taking a little break. It's currently at 128 Sp. Attack, 40 Sp. Defense, and 100 Speed. I also use the 10 EV items beforehand so it doesn't take as long. So, all Floatzel has really gained is 28 Sp. Attack EV's from fighting 4 level 1 Magmortars while holding the Power Lens (Sp. Attack EV item) I also have a ton of rare candies so I level them up to 100 to check if I did it right, saving beforehand. And when I'm done, I bring it to level 100 with the rare candies and move on to the next one. I'm also using the IV checker code to see what IV's they have and where I should put the EV's. I'm still training it myself, I'm just making it easier and faster.

 

Beautiful strategy.But what about the nature part of the WP Mod?YOu can decide what nature you want...just go look the code up on Youtube.Doesn't the nature depend on how it grows?Like a specific nature gives 10% to one stat and -10% to another.I'm also using the same strategy though.



But what did you EV train your Giratina in?I did mine in HP.I would have done special attack because of Shadow Force and dragon claw.But I decided not to.And I EV trained my Dialga and Palkia in attack and sp.attack.

Roar Of Time does massive damage.

 

Nature only matters for the one with it. Not ones attacking it. EV's don't change based on Nature. Nature just boosts one stat of the Pokemon while decreasing another, unless it's a neutral Nature like Hardy.

I trained my Giratina with 128 Sp. Attack, 128 Sp. Defense, and 254 Speed to match it's IV's of 0 Hp, 7 Attack, 25 Defense, 24 Sp. Attack, 30 Sp. Defense, 26 Speed and it's Timid Nature. I also gave it Shadow Ball, Aura Sphere, Earth Power, and Dragon Pulse.

 

Thats's too little,i got 56 on Speed and 60 on SP attack with my Charizard after using those "EV removing berries" and training on really weak pokemon.
And anyone wanna have a double battle or a multibattle?
I really wanna battle in this,specially with three people at the same time.

 

You didn't keep Shadow Force?That's Giratina's most powerful move. The moves I let it have were that, shadow ball, earth power, and dragon claw.But it's sp.attack is pretty high so I might give it dragon pulse.

The berries that remove EV's, of course. I need to use those to EV train better.

 

Well, I like moves that hit quickly, not wait a turn to hit.

 

Is this game actually worth getting? I haven't really picked up a Pokemon title since R/S/E. >_>

 

I think so. It's very good. The graphics are better than in the 3rd gen, and there are more animations. The world is more 3D than the GBA games, especially with the Distortion World, where you walk on walls, upside-down, and even surf on a wall. One thing that some people that are used to the older games don't like, is the fact that there are 493 Pokemon in all now.

 

I would recommend it, DPWolf. It seems annoying and obvious that these games can't get any better. But they really are getting better. This one is extremely addicting. And the leveing system is so much better. Obviously it isn't even close to the original and is impossible to compare, but still, even if it is really new-gen, it is still just as addicting.

 

I still wonder if there will be a 5th gen..they'd have to make some crazy looking pokemon..

 

And they'd have to make a legendary better than the Creator Pokemon in order to keep people's interest.

 

Exactly..like a second God of all pokemon...WTH...what pokemon could beat Arceus..*coughs*Dialga.....

 

Remember when I said the Arceus that will be given away at the movie should have Judgment, Spacial Rend, Roar of Time, and Shadow Force? Well, I just checked Serebii.Net and they have an update for the Arceus that'll be given away. It's level 100 with a Rowap Berry and knows those attacks! I so called that! XD

 

I have a friend whom I don't trust to much but he does know a lot of things and he says there will be a 5th gen but here's the thing. He said there wil be a total of over 700 pokemon inclucing 55 legendarys. I don't trust him completely to accept what he said but to consider it. Also Platinum is better than Diamond and Pearl. I may have gotten it a week after it came out but I still got ahead of my friends. PLus its so much easier since the battling goes much faster than in diamond and pearl and you can surf faster too. They basically remadi Diamond but made it faster and mad it so there wasn't only 2 fire pokemon.

 

That's bull. There is no info at all on a 5th gen. If there was, Serebii.Net would have it and I'd report it here, since I check it every day. Serebii is one of the top Pokemon sites.
