It depends on how good of a hack it was. If it's not, it'll just show up as a bad egg.

 

I hear if you use EV cheats that they wont be able to use in PBR.I think they turn into bad eggs.And who here has ever used that catch trainer's pokemon cheat?It's awsome at times..others it sucks.

Yes..same here...hack hack hac..cheat cheat cheat..And that move mod...it's crazy.You need the whole list to know every move.Jesus...I have a file on my desktop thta lets me see the move list.

 

Ah, I just found out about Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres.

And got, yet another, Up-Grade. >.>​

 

Is this game worth getting?

 

Definately, if you like the Pokemon game series.

I find it the best of the game series, but that is just my opinion.​

 

If you like Pokemon: Hell yes.

 

Well I liked Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. But I never played the new ones because I thought they would be lame.

 

Trust us.They aren't lame dude.Get it..Or one of the old DS ones to start ya off.But I say get it if you like Pokemon in general.

 

They are the best, enhanced options. New, and old Pokemon, etc.

But, if you liked Ruby, Saphire, and Emerald, you should like Platinum.

They added the Battle Frontier in this game, if you remember it from Emerald.​

 

But what if I'm too old to enjoy the game. My favorites were Silver and Gold, but that was ages ago.

 

Dude..there are 20-25 year olds that still play pokemon.Seriously.

 

Yeah, I guess I'll lay some paper down for it when I get a DS. What's the battle system like?

 

It's quite fast..the battle effects are good.The gym leaders have amimated sprites.Your pokemon in battle have animations from behind.And the pokemon have new sprites in general.

 

How many cities/pokemon did they put into it?

 

There are the same amount of cities and towns.They just added the Battle Frontier like with Emerald.
And there are still 493 pokemon.But a few pokemon have new forms.

 

9 Cities
5 Towns
Pokemon League (2 parts)
Fight Area (Battle Frontier), Survival Area, Resort Area.​

 

It would be better if they add all the places like Jhoto, Kanto, and Hoen. Why did Nintendo stop doing that?
