Pokemon Platinum

There are 5 new ones in Platinum. The Secret Key unlocks a new room where there are 5 items. Each one changes Rotom's form. But you can only have one of each form of Rotom.

 

What if you have 5 rotoms?And have one in your party at a time.Change up the forms.I"ve done it with 4 Deoxy's.

 

Nope. Once you change Rotom's form, the item it posseses dissappears until you change that Rotom to a different form. That's why you can only have one of each.

Say you change it to Cut form, the lawnmower then dissappears, so you can't have any more Cut Rotoms. Then you want to change it to Heat. The lawnmower comes back but the oven dissappears.

 

Hacks wont work will they?

 

I don't know. They might. But you shouldn't always resort to hacking. It takes some fun out of it. That's why I stopped.

 

Yeah I know that.I don't hack too often.But only for kicks.Or when I need smoething.Or I make my friends codes for the little people that don't have pokesav.Or they are just lazy.

 

Well, my little brother pre-ordered it and got his GIratina figure. Then he went to this event to upload Regigigas to his DS when he gets Platinum. I'll probably end up playing it when he finishes it, that's what I did with his other Pokemon games at least.

 

Alright, I've got more updated info on Platinum curtosy of Serebii.net. The official US names of Rotoms new forms are:
Fire = Heat
Grass = Mow
Flying = Fan
Ice = Frost
Water = Wash
So, the only ones that changed are Cut-Mow, and Spin-Fan.
The Platinum Orb, which makes Giratina into Origin Forme outside of the Distortion World, is now the Griseous Orb.
The new Battle Frontier places are now called Battle Hall, Battle Arcade, and Battle Castle stays the same.
The people that are in charge of them are Hall Matron Argenta, Castle Valet Darach, Lady Caitlin, Factory Head Thornton, and Arcade Star Dahlia.
The place where you rebattle Gym leaders is called the Battleground.

That's all the updates that I know of. Also, Serebii updated their Pokedex with the Platinum Pokemon descriptions.

When Devon/Marriland said Shinx is even more adorable htan before.He looks exactly the same.

And Eevee.His ears are sticking up instead of to the side.

And Pikachu,since when from the beginnning of D/P,did the female version have a heart shaped end on it's tail?I guess they wanted to separate them more.Along with other versions of pokemon.

 

The link works for me. And for Pikachu, they wanted to add differences between some male and female Pokemon for the 4th gen, so that's why they're like that. The changes are the same in Platinum as they were for Diamond and Pearl, but some are easier to see now.

 

Yeah..but I think someone said this idea once before.

I'd still like to see the actual battle cries for the pokemon.

By actual battle cries, do you mean like the anime? If so, we discussed that a couple pages back.

Yeah, it would be great. We know they have the ability to do it, because of your Pikachu in Yellow.

 

That's true.He had several cries,we he comes out,when he get's KO'd,when he is poisened or with any status problem and such.When you give him a thunderstone in he refuses.Basic crap.

But...the Pikachu in Pokiemon Yellow is pretty damn powerful.I raised my Pikachu to have like over 200 point stats.Without EV training it right.

 

Because they wanted to make Yellow more like the anime. That's why they had most of that stuff.

And the Bulbasaur,Charmander,and Squirtle.We even see our favorite 2 Team Rocket members.I hate them so much I don't even wanna name them.

 

Yeah. But in some movies they redeem themselves a bit. Like The Power of One, when they helped Ash and also almost sacrificed themselves.
