Pokemon or Digimon?

Which one is better and why? O_o

 

i think pokemon is better.

 

Read the first post. I said give a reason.

 

hmmm hard question. But obviously pokemon I like better. Digimon was cool too but pokemon had moral lessons and stuff. In digimon....well yeah

But I don't really like either now

 

I think Pokemon is better cos some of the pokemon are SOOOO CUTE!! =D *hugs them*

 

Digimon also had moral lessons.

 

I like them both the same but if I must I'll say Digimon probably because used to always watch it but I only liked the first 2 seasons the rest was ok.

 

In terms of Anime (since this IS in the anime section... ) Digimon. Pokemon is repetitive and obvious in each episode... Ash wins, Team Rocket blasts off again and all...

okay... I personally like Digimon better... of course I like both of them because they are both anime... and they both weren't pointless because they gave some moral lessons... but Digimon is better to me because I used to watch it all the time when I was really little. I also like it because it isn't repetitive... like pokemone, team rocket always blasts off... "we're blasting off agaaaaaiiinnn!" IT GETS SO FREAKING ANNOYING!! and Pokemon isn't all that good anymore ever since they came up with the new series... I mean, Digimon does, too... but at least their series connect to eacother to make a long storyline... Pokemon's series are all over the place and I can't follow them at all... I also think that the digimon are waaaayyy cuter than pokemon... not to mention that they fight better... but this is just my opinion and I'm not saying that pokemon isn't good... I still like the show but I just personally think that digimon is better than pokemon... to me it was made better so that's what I prefer to watch... but they're both great shows and I like to watch them ^^

Is it wrong to watch pokemon and digimon and such and "old" age? XD XD

 

I always liked Digimon better.
Well.. The first 2 seasons were my faves though.
Pokemon got too predictable after a while. And repetitive.
Digimon was un-predictable most of the time, which made me happy! ^^

'Cause Pokemon was just:
Ash enters contest. Wins of courseee...
Team Rocket goes blasting off AGAIN...(For like... the 400th time)
And the seasons jump around...

And Digimon is:
They actually lose every now and then.
It wasn't very repetitive
The seasons somehow all tie together for the most part.

 

Only seasons one and two of digimon tie together. The other three, as far as I know, are just spin offs, but still they are not as repetitive as pokemon.

 

when i liked these shows i thought Digimon was way cooler sense the main char.s didnt seem as lame as the ones in pokemon + the digimon could actualy talk...

 

Well, I like Digimon more. Looking back, Pokemon was just a little too...."sugar-coated" for my taste. That's just my opinion,though.

 

Pokemon. For some reason it has more memory than Digimon.

Digimon did good but it lacked notice. Pokemon was like...so popular.

 

Thats the main reason I like digimon.

 

Digimon. Pokemon's monster designs just don't compare to Digimon's, in my opinion.

 

I've always had more of an emotional tie with digimon.
Granted, i was into pokemon longer and more excessively, Digimon just really meant a lot more to me.

 

Definitely Digimon. While I used to be more prone to Pokémon in childhood, Digimon was the best in moral lessons, story background, plot, different and new characters, fresh ideas, and overall storyline with hints to past connections. DIGIMON. Oh yeah, and people age, or at least we know how old they are.

That's all there is to say on that, as it had been said by many others.

Pokemon used to be good the first two seasons or so, but then it just went downhill from there, I think on the Johto season or after. Too repetitive, too childish, and quite boring now. The only thing about Pokémon I watch now is the movies (and play the games, of course :D), which has what the series should have. I don't know how many times I'm going to hear Team Rocket blasting off over and over before I smash my head on the table to make it stop. All the episodes are the same, but with different people. Ash is in the road with the gang, meets random stranger who has a problem, befriends, and helps, which usually involves Team Rocket barging in, and blah.

The only difference are the leagues, contests, and when there is a special presenting a legendary Pokémon, and that's it.

Is sad, because it's like the writers are lazy, and save their best for the movies. And the thing that is even more sad, is that Pokémon can still have potential, no, it HAS the potential to be amazing (look at the games), but for whatever reason, they never go that far to reach it. I see a episode, and think of cooler ways that they might do to it than keeping it with the same old rhythm. Realism and a bit of more violence (not ZOMGB3!BLOODZ!!) wouldn't hurt either.

Shame.

 

Digimon because it was less confusing than pokemon.

 

I love digimon, the Spirit evolution series. It had like a really good story to it, and pokemon, is just like too repitive. The movies, the older ones, for pokemon were very good in my opion. Forgot what else I was going to say, it was spammy though :\
