    Probably not, seeing as we didn't get a Crystal remake when Heart Gold and Soul Silver were released.

    I wonder if ORAS will have the same options as X and Y did, where you could choose what language you played in when you started a new game. Would be pretty cool if they did that again. o:

    I'm just wondering why America is the only place that isn't getting a Demo of these games. Everywhere else gets to have fun and that special gift and nothing here

    Hiroshima and Nagasaki, perhaps? More likely is the fact that Pokemon isn't as big a hyped up deal here in America as it used to be in the '90s. If there were still a craze where it was clear Pokemon was still popular over here, then we probably would. Plus, demos don't really do so well over here, and I might be wrong because this is my own observation, but we just kind of get used to one thing for awhile, get bored, an move onto the next thing. They probably want to build up hype more by withholding for now.

    That, however, presents a problem for a minut demographic: the people who know what's going on in the rest of the world and they feel insulted to be excluded. Will it detract them from buying the game upon release? Stranger boycotts have happened; case in point, Daniel Craig's first Bond film was boycotted...well...because the last guy wasn't playing James Bond and it was as simple as that.

    The demo is actually confirmed to be coming to the US at some point. It's just that information on how or when has yet to be released.

    ...It's funny you'd bring this up now, because Japan was just announced to get a second distribution of the demo. More codes will be released in their December issue of Chao Magazine, due out November 1.

    I wonder if getting Latias is going to be as annoying as it was in the first games. Probably not, since you need it to get the other legendaries, but still, I find it a bit strange

    Good news! The US demo for the games will be released via code distributions through Pokémon's Trainer Club Newsletter for October!

    As far as the game itself:
    • The DexNav in the PokéNav Plus has a search level as you find Pokémon. As this Level increases, you can find Pokémon with Hidden Abilities & Rare moves. You can even mark Pokémon in the area that you have seen and haven't seen.
    • In the AreaNav, there is also tracking of Pokémon locations, as well as the return of the Trainer's Eyes and the ability to keep track of Secret Bases and Berries.
    • Buzz Nav has information such as television shows, and you can even receive information for it with StreetPass.
    • The PlayNav retains all features of the PSS, Super Training and Pokémon Amie.

    Also of note: Early this November, the Serial Code distribution on X and Y will be undergoing a brief period of maintenance. During this time, Mystery Gift codes will be unable to be redeemed. This maintenance will occur November 3 and 4 in North America, the 4 and 5 in the UK, and from the 4 to the 6 for the rest of Europe.

    Steelix has Sand Force as its ability. Glalie remains pure Ice, but gains Refrigerate as its ability.

    Am I the only one that's kind of scared by Glalie's mega evolution?

    Also, with the Pokemon Amie, it'll be incredibely easy to abuse the system and level up way too quickly...I'll have to remember to not touch it and turn the EXP Share off when I get it.

    that mega steelix could kill all the fairies.
    the amie isn't that broken as long as people keep it with one pokemon only and slyveon. but yea, the experience mechanic is messed up.

    I'm sure most, if not all people, will be using ORAS for their online gaming now, since the new mega evolutions aren't compatible with X/Y

    Poop. There goes my theory that X/Y will receive a patch to allow the new Megas.

    ...Although, if this were true, then how did people manage to get the Lati@s Megas in X/Y?

    Another note: There's no trainer customization in ORAS, either.
