Nintendo Pokemon: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

See, I hated the way you fought gym leaders again in HG/SS. In fact, I liked Emerald better because even though it was random, you didn't have to first get to them at a specific time and day, and then wait for another time and day just to challenge them. That's why I liked the way Platinum did it best.

 

I think so, yes. I just can't possibly wait until November.

The thing I'm most excited for from this trailer are those little moving platforms that send you flying in different directions - I'm going to make my base confusing as **** with these. >:D

They've also elaborated more on the cosplaying Pikachu, who gets special moves depending on which outfit they're wearing - Pikachu Rock Star gets Meteor Smash, Pikachu Ph.D. gets Electric Terrain, Pikachu Pop Star gets Draining Kiss, Pikachu Belle gets Icicle Crash, and finally, Pikachu Libre gets Flying Press.

 

~There was also a scan that hinted in a wifi event where you can a shiny metagross with a mega stone, but I don't think it's been confirmed yet.

 

Mega Altaria being Dragon/Fairy and having Pixilate...well, time to get my counters set up. The cloud theme is nice.

Mega Lopunny being Normal/Fighting is neat, though I dunno how useful it'll be unless they give it a big ATK boost. Neutral about the look.

Mega Salamence looks like it'll be a pretty big threat, though I'm kinda unimpressed with its ability, Aerialate. Wish the thing still had arms though.

 

Mega Slowbro & Mega Audino

Mega Slowbro has Shell Armor where its defence increases greatly & its s. attack is also raised. Mega Audino becomes a Normal/Fairy type and can have the Healer or Regenerator ability (though it always has Healer in its mega form). Also has high defence & s. defence.

It looks like Slowbro is getting eaten more and more by that Shellder. Eventually it'll get to the point where there's just another face sticking out from the shell.

 

Mega Lopunny looks kinda creepy to be honest. Slowbro just looks... very confused.

Gen 3 wasn't really my favourite gen but I think I might consider getting OR or AS because of the contests and hidden bases. Contests would definitely keep me playing for a while, probably why I didn't play X&Y as much since once you beat the Elite 4 all you really had was the battle mansion and battling other people.

 

Got a new trailer out for the games. Nothing too new, just a lot of bunched up info we've gotten the past few months. Though we do get to see a little scene with both kyogre and Groudon awakening, so something nice. Also the look of how Dive works now

 

As far as what was revealed in that trailer, I'm curious to know what the whole tip-toeing around in the grass is about. I wonder if it's just to get the upper-hand on a wild encounter or if it's something else entirely?

Okay, Primal Groudon and Primal Kyorgre are Uber and banned. I can tell right away, those skills are way too overpowered for teams that rely on other types of whether. Hell, you could basically take Primal Kyorgre and take down most of a team that's fire, if they don't have any move tutor moves like thunderpunch

 

Uh, yeah, Kyogre and Groudon already are Uber and banned.

But that is really neat about the abilities. Do we know if they last for only a few turns, or are they permanent like older games?
