Nintendo Pokemon: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Hidden BF and some other things. If we recall to FR/LG and HG/SS each remake had an additional area to explore that wasn't originally in the game. FR/LG made them into islands so you couldn't see them which was perfectly acceptable. I'm curious to what they will do this time around whether it be to get the other title legendary or get Gen 4/ Gen 5 title legendaries. I'm leaning towards Zekrom and Reshiram more to be honest only because in Gen 4 we got gen 3, but that in itself is not enough info to prove that it will happen. I also like to think we may get lucky and get to face N since supposively he is in Hoenn during the time between BW and BW2.

I will say I'm not too excited for this. First off, I'm not much of a fan of sableye in the first place, and its stats are pretty weak too. They kind of helped Mawile out with Huge power, but even then it's hard to use it right. But Sableye is just a very "meh" pokemon

 

I disagree that Mega Mawile is hard to use right: it's pretty much one of the best Dragon counters out there by having neither of the Fairy weaknesses and being immune to Dragon attacks, utilizing a massive Attack stat with Sucker Punch/Protect or Substitute, and tanking many hits while buffing with moves like Swords Dance or possibly debuffing the enemy with Play Rough.

Sableye does seem pretty meh right now, but I'm really curious what its Mega form will give it.

 

Against Dragons, sure, it's awesome, but I've been outplayed a lot by others against it just because of its speed. i don't deny it has its uses, but there's other fairies you can use that can deal with the weaknesses and still work better

 

Yeah, serebii put that too, but there's not too much new info on that. Although the screenshot page has a lot more info. It seems like when you find Steven in Dewford Cave this time you get to see a picture of Groudon/Kyogre on the cave wall.

Eh, I'm not too worried. All of the new Mega Evolutions I've seen so far are of Pokemon that I expected to have one in X/Y, except Sableye.

 

Hoenn is also going to have some different pokemon this time around, so we'll see what that's all about in later news. I'm thinking either they'll expand the pokemon in the region, or it'll be something like what they did with Black2/White2, where the pokedex is switched around with a mix of different pokemon.

 

next off is mega salamence and mega wobbuffet.

 

So am I the only one that hopes they change the way you rebattle the gym leaders? In Emerald you could, but you had to wait for who knows how long. I liked how they did it in Platinum, where you could go to a house and fight a certain amount every day

 

I liked the way they did it in Heartgold and Soulsilver. Where you just need to call them up at a certain time, and they'll go to this dojo.

 

I am honestly so confused about the cosplay thing - like, is it only Pikachu you can dress up like that?

Yeah, I think it'd be good if you could just approach them in the gyms and fight them again with their tougher parties. Or alternatively I kinda miss having the mobile where you can call up people to battle.
