Nintendo Pokemon: Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

Mystery and wonder are the best parts about a sequel. I cant even describe the inner screaming i'm doing i just CANT WAIT!!!!

 

If the keep the secret bases I'll be beyond thrilled. Apparently you can pre-order it, and I plan on doing it. Some places the price is listed as $9,999 though. One expensive game right? It'll probably get a reasonable price when it gets closer though.

 

Now I can finally play it instead of trying to find Emerald at Gamestop

 

Was about to post these too...Man I'm so hyped to see Mega Sceptile. Hopefully they do him justice with the stats and ability.

DERP just read up on Serebii what his typing and stuff are. Grass/Dragon's alright, but dat 4x Ice Weakness...he'll need some really powerful moves to make up for that, like Garchomp does. Also, Lightning Rod is such a weird ability to give him.

 

omg. EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL. DANG NATHAN THOSE STARTER MEGAS ARE PHRESH. And the protags look like little Hawaiian kids, I love it <3 <3 <3 <3 And Stevey boy looks like more of a bowss than ever before. I cannot wait for this to drop.

Stop it Nintendo, you're going to make this wait even worse, those looks awesome.
Though I must say, While I like the designs for May and Brendan, The new bandanna on May seems a little.....I just don't think it fits. Compared to before where may seemed like a bit of a tomboy like Misty, this makes her seem a bit more childish. But at least now we get to at least see Brendan's hair instead of thinking his hat was his hair (okay, fine, I'm the only guilty one for that).

The new designs for Aqua and Magma are cool too. Though with this change, I'll have to change my opinion of Aqua being the better design to Magma being better. Before Magma seemed like the outfits would murder you in heat, but those look a little better, and Aqua certainly has been working on their tans. Though, is that Maxie and Archie on the ends? If so, the years have been interesting for Maxie, somehow he aged younger.

I just noticed too, but Brendan has funny clown-sized shoes just like Sora does. Hahaha

Ancient Devolution seems interesting, and Aqua/Magma look better than ever. Aw man, I wonder how much of a role Steven has in the game. Will Wallace be champ like in Emerald or will it be him, I wonder. Brendon and May look adorable and YOU CAN ACTUALLY TELL HE HAS A HAT ON FINALLY. Everything's looking really great so far! Can't wait to see what they show for Nintendo Direct.

 

Can I just say the remodels for May and Brendan are just beyond sexy. Like, this is beyond gorgeous. Also... Mega Sceptile has just earned its place as a permanent member on my team. Lighting Rod, HA, come at be OU tier. Sucks about the ice 4x weakness though. Anyway, I've been fangirling for the past hour about this all.

 

I hope Steven does have more of a roll, because even though he was memorable as a character, it's hard for me to imagine how exactly. You don't even meet him except for a few times in the story, if I'm counting correctly, 4 times, 5 in emerald. It'd be nice to get more moments from him, and not something like what happened with Diantha who had really no character development whatsoever. I'm hoping for more fun and redesigned gyms, as well as more rival battles, they had way too few of those as well.

I think the biggest thing I'm looking forward to find out about is some form of customization like in X/Y. Thought since this is a little different than X/Y coming out with no history or past games to work from, everything was alright. I guess if they let us customize too much with the characters too much it wouldn't really be like playing with May/Brendan

 

i really can't wait for the remake of all pokemon remakes. also #megaswampert and #steven.

 

I'm really excited for this. It was long overdue a remake - Gen III is definitely my favourite of the bunch.

I love Brendan & May's designs. They actually make sense compared to the old ones. I mean, they live on a freakin' tropical island!

Kinda stupid how I found out about this only now.
Anyway, I'm so excited. I love the Hoenn region, it's my favorite pokemon region ever. Finally, a remake. I hope they keep the secret bases and the battle frontier. I love those parts.

 

So it seems that E3 gave us a little more to go on with the info that came from CoroCoro last time. They released a gameplay video of Mega Sceptile and Swampert, and Also confirmed that Groudon and Kyogre with be called Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre.

Oh yeah, Japan gets theirs released on November 12th, while we have to wait till November 21st in America and Europe has even longer till November 28th. What happened to a worldwide release at the same time like X/Y?

 

Trailer looked pretty. I'm excite. Still wish we knew a bit more? Battle Frontier infor? Customization? I alrady know its going to be Steven as the champion, corocoro said it would be ruby and sapphires story, so sorry to say we don't get Emeralds much better story.

 

Yeah, I'm going to be annoyed for that story thing for a long while. I just can not get myself to approve the story of Ruby/Sapphire when you have 2 teams that are out against you, and yet somehow one of them is good and does nothing while the other you fight against. At least Emerald made it that you went against both which would be more normal. It's the one pet-peeve I have against Ruby/Sapphire.

But at least we got some info on what the gyms will be like for some. I can easily tell what the laveridge gym is going to be like (Flannery better prepare, because I have so much payback left to give still from my Sapphire days), and I'm thinking that other one was Sootopolis, but that's just a guess because I saw the water in the back, I could be wrong. I'm also hoping they either keep the gym leaders the same with beefed up pokemon, or even the emerald teams. I just don't want to have a remake where they ruin the gyms and make them all have a measly 3 pokemon except for the last 2

Actually, I just looked at the second gym picture again, and it's full of psychics, so it's got to be Mossdeep's gym. Certainly a change from before

 

Looks nice, though I don't like that they're hiding the Battle Frontier. Plus, do we really need another Camerupt?
