Pokemon - Kanto

"I didn't say Charmander was the best of all three starters, besides, they each have their own strengtsh and weaknesses, nto mention they're cool in their own way." He said to Vyse as he watched the Nidoran with Pidgey perched on his shoulder, all Justin need was an eyepatch and he'd be fit to be a pirate...sort of.

"Well, after this city, it's the forest next I believe, I could capture a Caterpie or Pikachu if I'm lucky." He thought to himself, when eh beacme ten and his mother wouldn't let him travel, he decided to look up about Pokemon and the towns to be safe and ready.

 

Jane smiled. Well then lead the way. I could catch a pokemon or two.

Mya sighed. She felt a bit lonely traveling to other places alone. Shouldve asked when I had the chance right Squirtle? She started to walk towards the forest. Perhaps she could find some pokemon worth catching there. She had to be careful though. She didn't want to have a poisoned pokemon or fight against grass pokemon.

 

Zero sighed, her job sounded frightening, "Don't they frighten you? Even a little bit? Surely hanging around ghosts all day, you must not get out much."

 

Anita chuckled. Her skin was a bit pale from staying indoors all the time. "Not me. You outsiders may be frightened, but I was born in this town. Ghosts have been with me since birth."

 

Zero laughed, "Outsiders, what a nice word to use. Say Anita, I'm on a journey. Why don't you come with me? I'm sure the other towns have graveyards you can do your thing at. And pokemon die all the time all over the world so, what say you?"

 

Anita chuckled, her Ghastly hovering near Zero's Pidgey. "Maybe. My parents wouldn't mind all that much. Not with my Little spirit to protect me." She rang a bell, her Ghastly hovering close to her.

 

Zero smiled, "Great, then we'll head out to the next town in a few days." Sighing, he lifted his head to the sky and let his closed his auburn eyes.

 

"Of course, you could stay in my home during the time." Anita went into a certain house, it being her own.

 

Zero followed her with a moment's hesitation at the door, "Uh, you sure it's okay for me to stay here?" his dark auburn eyes glanced around, brushing his gray shirt to remove anything hanging on it, even though there wasn't. He knew his jeans hung a but low on his hips, but usually people didn't notice.

 

Anita removed her shoes and socks to show her tiny dainty feet. "Remove your socks and shoes please. Our Haunter is not very fond of dirt."

 

"Alright. Looks like we're going back to Veridian Forest for a bit buddy."Rose picked up her Pikachu. "Pikaaaa...."Pikachu looked like it was smiling at the thought.

 

Angel turned, Bulba leaping out her arms."Fine, if you want Kakuna back, you have to battle me. My Bulba against your Onix." Bulba nodded angrily. "Bulba!" The teen only gave them a sly smile, Angel quickly letting go of her confidence that just filled her heart two seconds ago.'This is a day of firsts.' she thought, her jaw clenching.

 

"You want a new friend, Bulbasaur?" Vyse asked with enthusiasm, "Then show that Nidoran who's boss! Tackle!" He yelled the command and pointed to the Nidoran. His Bulbasaur yelled its name and ran forward with its head out.
"Nidoran!" The Nidoran♀ jumped to the side, easily avoiding Vyse's Bulbasaur and countered with its own Tackle, using its horn for extra damage.
"Saauur!" Bulbasaur yelled in pain as the blue Pokemon's horned head made contact with his side. He jumped, putting more space between himself and his enemy and awaited for his trainer's orders.
Vyse watched the Nidoran size up Bulbasaur after her Tackle. He couldn't help but grimace. For someone who had studied Pokemon for two years, he could have avoided that mistake: Bulbsaur was made for power, not speed. Unfortunately, Bulbasaur's most powerful hitting move at the moment was Tackle, but he wasn't fast enough to land a hit. Maybe Vine Whip could get a Same Type Advantage Bonus..? Vyse wondered. It was true that since Vine Whip was a grass type move and Bulbasaur was a grass type Pokemon, it would be strong-"Wait, that's it!" Vyse realized his new plan. "Bulbasaur, Vine Whip! Don't let that Nidoran move!"
"Bulba?" Not sure what his trainer was planning, Bulbasaur moved his front foot like a bull about to attack and then took off towards the Nidoran for another tackle. Just like before, the Nidoran hopped out of the way. Bulbsaur expected that and turned. Because of his speed, Bulbsaur ended up rolling sideways, but he was on his feet soon enough. "Bulba!" Two vines quickly shot out from the bulb on his back and entangled the Nidoran, tying it up instead of simply whipping it.
Vyse couldn't help but jump backwards with excitement. "Alright! You ready to see a capture, Justin?"

Ace eyed the girl carefully. Daughter of Team Rocket's leader? Really now? He shrugged. "I don't now Grey, I don't know an Angel, and I don't know anything about Team Rocket. It's just some gang, right?" He told the girl. "But thanks for that information, I'll pass it along to officers." He looked at the Bulbasaur. "Now if you would gladly give me back that Pokemon I caught unfair and square, you'll be free to go," He said, before pointing to his Onix on the other side of Angel. "I'd rather not go through any unnecessary trouble. Pokemon, don't we gotta catch them all anyway? We're trainers, aren't we?"

 

'Huh? I thought he was part of Team Rocket.." Angel thought, her mind wandering. "Oh, well then," Angel tossed the pokeball back to the teen, who caught it with ease. "Sorry about that, I kind of have my Dad's instincts. Nevermind about the pokemon battle though." She grinned sheepishly, rubbing the back of her head. 'I'll see you around then." Then, turning, Angel sighed. 'I. Am. Such. An. Idiot!'

 

Rick stared at mount Moon for awhile. It looked like tough clime but luckly for lazy people like Rick there was a cave that would make it easy to just walk under it.

 

"As ready as I'll be!" Justin said eith excitement, he did want to watch another trainer catch a new pokemon since it's such a grand moment between the Trainer and that said pokemon so he actually respected that.

 

"You heard the man, Bulbasaur!" Vyse yelled enthusiastically. "Hold that Nidoran still...and TACKLE!" He received a determined "Bulba!" in response as he watched his Bulbasaur run forward. He could see the Nidoran struggling, but Bulbasaur had her still with his Vine Whip.
"Buuullllbbba!" The green starter rammed the blue poison pokemon as hard as he could, unwrapping his vines and sending the Nidoran into a tree.
"Nidoo...?" muttered the blue pokemon as spirals replaced her eyes.
"Here we go!" Vyse reached into his pocket for an empty Pokeball, pulled it out, reared his hand back like a baseball pitcher, and threw it at the Nidoran. He watched hopefully as the ball hit the Pokemon and absorbed it with red light. Beep. Come on...Beep. Give me a Nidoran..Beeeepp. "Alright, I caught a Nidoran!" He turned around and grinned at Justin. "Now how about a battle?"

"What a strange one," Ace said as he watched Angel walk away. "She's the leader's daughter? I wonder if I should tell Grey myself I ran to his daughter," The fresh Rocket grunt wondered to himself. "Eh, maybe some other time...Onix, follow me!" He commanded his large rock snake. It was a strange sight to see the green-haired boy walk through the forest with a large Onix following behind him. He kept walking until he found a nice corner in the forest. "Alright then, here we go." He threw his new Pokeball forward and summoned Kakuna. The cocoon Pokemon looked around confused. "Onix, shake the trees," he commanded. Onix obliged and slammed its tail into nearby trees. Moments later, several Caterpie and Weedle fell from the tree. "Heh," chuckled Ace as he watched his Onix move to stop the bug Pokemon from escaping. "Kakuna, harden." The Cocoon Pokemon was still confused, but it listened to its new trainer just as a Caterpie attacked. "Keeping Hardening," he said as more Caterpie and Weedle attacked his Kakuna, knowing they stood no chance against the large Onix.

 

Justin watched Vyse capture his pokemon and grinned. "Sure thing! I need the experience of battling other trainers anyway!" he said and stepped back a couple of steps as Pidgey chriped out. "Let's start things off with our new pokemon, Pidgey, you ready?" He asked it as it nodded lightly before taking flight away from his trainer, flapping.

"Well then...let's go!" Justin called out with excitement.

 

"Wow, this day has been very hetic." Angel chirped, letting her ponytails down. "I mean, I run into a guy who steals my pokemon, I think he's part of Team Rocket, and I end up not having a pokemon battle." Bulba grimanced, and turned, running off. "Bulba! Come back here!" Angel started to run after her pokemon, who almost disapeared from her sight. "What's that smell?" Then, it hit her. She'd left the bowl of Chili in too long! "Nooooo! I didn't mean to burn down the forest!" The two then screeched to a halt. In front of them, hungry orange-red flames licked up trees and the ground. "No...."

 

Zero raised his eyebrows and removed his shoes and socks. "You're whole family has ghost pokemon?" He glanced around, hoping nothing would jump out at him.
