Pokemon - Kanto

"yeah yeah can we go now" Seth said with a sigh

 

"Yes! Oh, I'm so happy." Angel sighed, joining the two boys. She healed JigglyPuff and took it out its ball, putting it up against her cheek. "Ummnn, its so warm.."

 

Seth looked over at her and then proceeded to walk "that reminds me...I need to find a new pokemon to replace that Zubat" Seth said not really talking to Angel hersel

 

Angel snuggled her cheek against JigglyPuff, wrapped in a fantasy of Her and her mom when she was little. 'Angel, what's the most important thing you should do with Pokemon? Her mom asked, sitting beside her on their deck. 'That's easy, Love right?' She answered, petting the egg her dad had brought home from his Lab. 'Right. And if anyone ever tells you otherwise, Don't believe them, okay?' Angel put the egg in her lap, her mom hugging her. 'Right.' Her mother had gotten up and smiled to her as she went for a walk with her Squirtle. That was the last time she'd ever seen her mom, the last time Angel was happy at home. "Mom..." Angel out her head down, Jigglypuff squirming a little. "I will find you."

 

Seth suddenly stopped walking and looked over his shoulder at Angel when he heard her words

 

Angel felt Seth stop beside her. Her face got red and hot with embrassment. "Uh, did I just say that out loud?" She stammered, putting JigglyPuff back in its ball.

 

"must be nice to know your mother is still around" Seth said calmly and began to walk forward

 

"Oh! I'm sorry, I really don't know if she's still around. But, I can hope at least. One day, if I do find her, I'd hug her all day. I know my dad has hidden her somewhere, I just don't know where." Angel looked up at Seth, her face full of hope. "I'm sorry about your mom. Really, truly sorry. I can't get by without thinking about her. I know you probably do too." She put her head down again. "Here, i'm not talking for the rest of the trip." She laughed. She knew she had a tendancy to talk much, and she knew everybody else knew it too.

 

"thats good to know. I was afraid your talking would scare away all the good pokemon" Seth said

 

Angel pressed her lips tighter together, trying not to laugh. 'He's right. I haven't seen one since JigglyPuff....' She thought, walking slowly.

 

Seth walked along with Edo and Angel remaining quiet. It wasn't that he was ignoring them it was just that he didn't know what to say as he wasn't used to being around anybody

 

"Hmmm........That couldn't have taken you any longer could it? I've been waiting forever" Miranda called out drawing out the forever part and putting extra emphasis into it. "I mean really..." she went on "Little Growlie and i here were starting to get bored, I've been meaning to get a little payback in for making me drop that Old Amber" She jumped down from the top of a boulder with Growlithe close behind, the egg which seemed to occasionally pulse was still held close to her chest.

"I'm really not one for any kind of idle chit chat but why dont we just get this started, forget the formalities, my name isnt important, you know why im doing this so let's battle!" Growlithe stepped in front of her and gave a ready bark as it lowered to the ground in a tense battle stance "So, Who's first? The little girl with that ridiculous pink fluff ball or one of you brats?" Miranda let out a short laugh and set her egg on the ground next to her feet.

 

"so your blaming us for a stupid mistake you made and waited for us here even though we could have went to pallet town instead" Seth said and closed his eyes with a sighed "your bosses are not going to like to hear your screwed up Miranda" Seth said with a little smirk

 

Miranda's smile disappeared and shock hit her face only to fade into a cocky smile once again "Oh, I get it your dads on the force, Which one is he maybe i've run into him before. But I've certainly never seen you."

 

"why should I tell you. I gain no benefit from informing you who my father is" Seth said

 

"Oooo touchy" She said mockeningly "Not even a hint? I do love a good guessing game, Is it one of those mindless lowly little grunts? Are you gonna follow in daddies footsteps? You probably couldn't cut it" She laughed softly and Growlithe yelped happily along with her.

 

"Im not intrested in following my father's footsteps at all. Besides if I was still a member I definately wouldn't make a stupid mistake like yours" Seth said

 

Look at the boy glaring but composed her self retorting "Hey you guys were in my way, that heist was going as perfectly as i planned it" she lied. "Then you had to be on that road. So what'd you do when the cops inevitably caught up with you? Did you give the amber back like good boys and girls?" she mocked secretyl hoping that wasnt the answer. Miranda continued staring at the group now very sternly.

 

"actually they told us to keep the bag and contents and look whats was in it" Seth said pulling out old amber "perfectly my foot you should have accounted for civillians in the way. A screw up is a screw up" Seth said

 

Miranda's eyes locked onto the amber "Hmm wow, impressive, I never thought that Officer Jenny could be so naive. Now uh why dont you hand it over to me? I mean i did steal it fair and square"
