I wonder if they've changed anything around in the game..but G/S/C were a bit harder than
the old R/B/Y with the caves and such..a bit more challenging in my case..

 

They have to be using a different engine because the whole game looks different than any of the games they've made so far.

 

Not really..it has the same graphics as D/P/P to me....the 3d buildings Etc..the animated pokemon sprites if we see those in the game. And so on..we'll just wait till we play the game to figure it out..

 

Actually, FR/LG ran on a slighty different engine, and Emerald was based on the FR/LG engine.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong. But did R/S use the same engine too?

Which I'm sure will be the same case with HG/SS.

The few mechanics here and there, such as things like the wind, would be possible upgrades to the previous engine.

 

You mean the weather?
I'd like to see some changes in the weather..like insted of it only raining in certain routes..have it randomly rain in towns and city's..or even snow possibly.

I could name a few things that need an upgrade.

 

Have you any idea what D/P/P look like? If you haven't then of course the Engine's are different...from what you said earlier..

 

I've seen some parts of the games but I haven't played through any of them yet. Are they really that good?

 

That is likely the case. However this time around using that 3D pokemon engine, it's going to look a lot sleeker (much like how FR and LG looked much better than R/S/E).

I see that the Bellsprout Tower is in 3D, maybe the gameplay is gonna change too.

 

Yes they are good..you should play them..I highly suggest you do..But if you need help selecting one..get Platinum..it's the best out of the 3.

That would lfeel weird..full 3d combat hit after hit..

 

It would take forever for them to make a game...KH games take up to 3 years to make....

 

Clever idea. But it wouldn't seem right to me since I'm very used vto the battle system they use now..haha.

 

Well...we'll all wait till AR cheats come out for them. Plain and simple.

But for every game there is always one masterball. Everyone knows that.

 

Were there 2 masterballs in the old versions? Nope. Like they'd actually change the rules out of nowhere.

I would like to see like 2 masterballs or maybe 3.

But about the legendaries. Pokemon D/P/P has the most legendaries in any poke game. But there was still only 1 masterball.
